In the weekly update there was a pie chart that showed the percentage of games played on multiplayer maps. KP said that this chart (along with many others I'm sure) helps them make decisions about maps in H3. I noticed that Waterworks was only 1%. I was worried. I like Waterworks. I would like to see maps like that in H3. It was one of the most creative maps (I love huge, ancient forerunner structures) and one of the few that reminded me of H1. The problem with it was how large it was. With Halo 3, 32 players is a strong possibility, so I think maps like this would be played on more often. I know that Bungie probably realizes anyway, but I felt obligated to make this topic. I'm not saying that they should remake Waterworks, I just would like to see maps with that dark, gloomy, ancient feel reappear in H3.

I'm just curious if other people would like see more maps with that dark, gloomy, ancient, forerunner feel. Once again, I'm not asking for a remake of Waterworks. I just want maps with that kind of feel appearing in H3. I also want maps with that Spartan training and cloning thing that they had for H1.

Just add your thoughts.

No... I really don't want Chiron back.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Yea, I loved waterworks at the start, but I guess at time went on I never played there anymore. It was a pretty cool map too. I loved the design of the bases.

Chiron was the spartan cloning one, but there were also great spartan training maps too. Wizard is an example of one and it got remade as a forerunner map in H2.

Chiron Shotguns kicked ass! We just need a ton of maps, and more small maps, Halo 2 maps everyone was -blam!- huge and it got really boring, alot.

Yea, just imagine 32 people(if they have that many) fighting on Lockout. The average lifespan would be about 10 sec. or less.

What are you talking about? There were only like five large maps. Every other one was small .

I would appreciate if people posting actually read the topic. I think ODST is the only person that actually read my topic and made a thoughtful post. This topic is not about Chiron or H2. It's about whether or not you want maps with that dark, gloomy, huge, ancient forerunner feel that Waterworks had in H3. This is assuming also that Halo 3 will have at least 32 players in one game.
