Ok I looked on Wikipedia.org and tried to find anything on Spartan-62.....I didn't find one thing.

At first I thought it would be Linda who was 062. Because that Spartan was equipped with a S2-AM Sniper Rifle, which was Linda's favorite and most used weapon.

So then I looked on a few other sites, HBO's Story Page, a few Halo related info sites, and didn't find anything.

That's when I remembered about Fhajad, he was a SPARTAN-II who didn't pass the augmentation process. I looked in the Fall of Reach book to try to find his designation, but I couldn't. So that's why he is one of my candiadates for who is 062. You're probably asking.....he couldn't of, he didn't get the neccessary Augmentations.

Well he sort of did because he got them, it's just that he never got them go into full effect. And then he was transfered to ONI, the organization that leads the SPARTAN Project.

Then I remembered about SPARTAN-458, she was a part of a second batch of trainees that CPO Mendez trained. And I related that to 062, because she was unkown to any of the first batch SPARTANS. Which makes me think, she might be explained more in Bungie's new Halo novel, Ghosts of Coral or in the Halo Graphic Novel.

So theres not that much to talk about right now {mroe will come, when info is avalible}, but I think he/she will get explained in the Halo Graphic Novel.

So basicly your saying you have no idea who she is and are just waiting for the novel to come out?

ok.

Well, being that I'm all "new" and stuff, I can't make apost yet...so i'll state an idea or question that may be answered in here: Who is Cassandra?

Anyone who got the "Special Edition" witht he conversations of the universe book, can look. She's Writing John (MC) and starts it off with by calling him 117. She also speaks of moving onto the fourth stage of rehab. And says that she is "happy to be skinned again." Wtf? Something horrible must have happened to her. She says "We miss you John" as in a group. A group of the injured spartans from the SPartan-II project? The ones whoe didn't make it through the augmentations? I dont' know..

Maybe it's been stated before, just an idea.

"Shall I help you choose a vehicle, Reclaimer? This one seems in very good condition, about the standard. Primitive armor not withstanding."
—343 Guilty Spark
"A tank's a tank, light bulb."
—Johnson

Hey Tman892 i think i found what your lookin for
here I got this on wikipedia

"Just prior to the fall of the planet Reach, all but three of the SPARTANs were gathered for what was to be a defense against the ground troops on Reach. (The exact number is unknown, as there are discrepancies in numbers.) Three (John-117, James-(number unknown) and Linda-058) stayed in space for a side operation, of which John was the only survivor"

Here you are

The reskining could simply mean that they have gotten there armour back...Spartan's are very uncomfortable outside of there armour, and consider it a second skin.

Well there is a slight problem with your theory. First off it wouldn't be the people from the Spartan-ll project because the augmentations occured long before this point. If you have read the book, which i'm sure you have, the Spartans were augmented a few years before even the MJOLNIR armor was created. So that would be the flaw in you theory. But I do agree with you, who is cassandra. Also, about the "We" part, this Cassandra says that Srg. Johnson was there with her as well so the "We" could me her and Srg. Johnson.

I'm blue da ba di da ba dai!

Cassandra is a spartan that died at the end of first strike and the MJOLNIR was invented before the spartan tow programe they said they tested the armor on marines.

Well if Cassandra died at the end of First Strike, why then, is she writing to MC after he, and Srg. Johnson returned to Earth, which is shone by her even mentioning Srg. Johnson. Not to mention, like Jester14X said, they didn't even mention Cassandra in First Strike, unless she was one of the Spartans that died on Reach.

Honest Mistake, but that still leaves the question about Cassandra out and unanswered. Perhaps this would be a better question to ask Bungie, since they were the ones who put her in the Conversations From the Univers.

Cassandra doesnt necessarily have to be a spartan II, she could be a navigator, pilot, etc. Heck for all we know, cassandra could be a guys name by 2552

  • 06.11.2006 2:20 PM PDT

Maybe its one of the spartan from the failed augmentation.

That is a good point but why would a pilot know MC by his name.

I've covered this ealier, the Spartan project was twenty years previous to the fall of Reach, why would she have to recover now from something that happend twenty years ago, unless there was a new spartan program since the Spartan-ll. Not just that don't you think that by now they would have perfected the augmentation process.

Thats very true, i didnt think of that. It is most likely a different spartan with failed augmentations.........that could possibly be a "pilot, navigator, etc." w/ sg. johnson

If I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good nite.

I already did a post asking about Cassandra. She'll probably be mentioned in the next Eric Nylund novel. Read the forums people so you don't "make up your own idea" when it was posted only four or five days ago. Jeazal Petes!
