Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

So, I'm playing through Halo 3: ODST and I noticed This little poster that states Destiny Awaits. I don't think I have to explain to anyone about Bungie's next title, only known as Destiny. This reference may have been pure coincidental, but I know that that's not their style.

What other references have Bungie left that possibly hints at Destiny?

Wow, good find OP.

What a waste....

I've seen that a few times, but since it was pre-Destiny (lol) I didn't see a connection.

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

I made this connection about a month ago. When I saw it, I loled so hard. You can see what looks like concept art for the destiny triangle. BUNGIE also would have known they were developing a new game series at the time this would have been made. Overall, it's a fun little easter egg. Lets make a conspiracy thread and make it a big one.

"Dude, what are you doing right now?"
"Uhh... Heh, my mom."
"Dude... What?"

So ODST was just one big advertisement? D:

Wow, I never noticed that. Nice find OP.

Does this mean Bungie have been thinking about Destiny for four years?

I saw those but never thought anything of them.

Interesting. Are there more?

This is addressed in the 'Waiting for destiny' blog, check it out for the speculatory links they've made over there.

This is what I was wondering. I mean, they would have known that they were leaving Halo and needed a new Universe. If it was an intentional Easter Egg, I'm impressed. If it was simply coincidence, I'm still impressed.

Actually not to sound mean but i think this has been known for ages. If you look at misriah solutions i think most bungie fans know of this. One the side bar is link to the info about the game.

For more info about Destiny, and to see the map created by Sonic John, and Misriah Solution articles.

Don't do anything you wouldn't want to have to explain to paramedics. Trust me, I'm a pilot.

I never noticed that. Excellent find, OP.

Does anyone else think it kind of looks like an early version of the Destiny triangle?

I also wonder what "Asklon" is. Maybe it'll have some significance in Destiny?

I've seen that poster several times in the game, never noticed the connection before.

Good job OP.

First of all good job OP!
Secondly I think Bungie might've been thinking about Destiny for longer than 4 years (Maybe 5 or 6) as I spotted a possible refference in Ghosts of Onyx when I was re-reading it. I could just be overthinking though or it could be a typo of somekind.
Now if you'd please all open your copies of Ghosts of Onyx to pages 350-351 and check the third line from the bottom of page 350 and the tenth line from the top of page 351 you can see the word "Destiny" is capitalised.
My point is why is it capitalised? On both occasions it isn't at the beginning of a sentence, so why the capitalisation? I think Voro Nar 'Mantakree may be referring a thing when he says "Destiny" which explains the capitalisation if it's a name.
This could mean "Destiny" may have been a concept for longer than previously thought
However, I will say that I think this quite a weak speculation and it's most likely nothing at all, but it still makes me wonder.

Isn't that also the dead orbit logo created by earth and the moon?

Haters are going to hate.
Praisers are going to praise.

The Bungie Forums are what keeps my mind sharp and my fingers active, between writing my own movie scripts, drawing, and studying industrial design. At the moment I'm working on miniatures for a short movie that I'll hopefully be able to film once I've saved up for a camera... That's me, with the mug, trying to have a conversation with Konoko.

Not bad, Sherlock! ... I mean, humm, Watson...

Really though, nice find. I've read TGoO two times now, and hadn't though of it.
