Subject: Why play invasion?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I play it sometimes on the days when I don't suck, because it isn't always horrible.

-Bad community(Doesn't like a map)

-Real Life issues

The top three are the most common reasons.

The 343 forums suck. They're full of retarded kids and mods who got butthurt in the B.net forums for being told that they're bad.

I love getting matched against parties, even when my whole team quits, I'll stay and see how I fare with 6-1 odds or 8-1 odds in big team. I usually get destroyed but if I can get at least a few kills, I feel pretty good about it.

So instead of quitting and finding a new, fair game for yourself as well as hopefully for the other 6-8 people in the game, you sit and waste everybody else's time just so you can maybe feel slightly good about not getting absolutely zero kills?

Stop being so selfish.

If it makes you feel better I usually stay and wipe the floor with my buddy against full parties.

Why do you care when there is only one quitter?

Why do you care when there is only one quitter?

Well first off is the annoying screen that shows up whenever a host changes or someone quits (it lasts for a good minute or so).

Then what's even worse is that the teams are uneven and we are at a disadvantage. The game is harder if you have one less teammate resulting in vehicle/power weapon steals and the inability of completing the objective.

Plus it happens in nearly every game which on its own is extremely annoying. And other players may deem the situation hopeless and quit themselves.

From how much I played Invasion, it just seems that people are afraid of any higher ranked person in their game. Even just one or two.

People still assume that rank is equal to skill.

so true,its stupid

Sooo, what you are saying is this:A recruit who hasn't played halo will beat an Nova who has played halo from ce and had alot of time to practice his aim.
Rank = time = practice = skill.

You have to take into consideration that they might play a lot of grifball, living dead, firefight, or other playlists that will not give them enough practice with the more conventional weapons like the DMR or are mainly ones that focus on luck and less on skill.

That recruit could have been a skilled halo player in other halo games (or a skilled player in other FPS games) and had only recently picked up reach (as unlikely as that sounds).

time=practice to a certain point. The skill portion depends on what you play and how you "practice".

Well first off is the annoying screen that shows up whenever a host changes or someone quits (it lasts for a good minute or so). Not everyone is host, so it probably doesn't happen everytime. For me, the black screen only lasts about 10 seconds.

Then what's even worse is that the teams are uneven and we are at a disadvantage. The game is harder if you have one less teammate resulting in vehicle/power weapon steals and the inability of completing the objective. Down one player does not change that drastically. If that has been happening to you, you must've been playing with terrible teamates..

Plus it happens in nearly every game which on its own is extremely annoying. And other players may deem the situation hopeless and quit themselves. Nearly isn't always, at least. Plus, not everyone has time to play a full game of Invasion.
