What is the longest ban ever given, that isn't permanent, or something ridiculous?

I mean something ridiculous like 2 years+, so what is the longest ban given that is under 2 years? e.g. 1 6 month, or a 1 year ban.

What was the offence, Ninjas?

7777 Years, 77 days, and 77 seconds.

The offence: someone stole Duardo's chocolate milk.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I personally would ban people until the year 7777, or 8008. I have no idea how the guysto ban people 4 ever usually go about it, aside from issuing a standard permaban.

I'd be pissed if someone stole my chocolate milk.

But that is 2 years+! And also effectively a perma ban.

What is a standard perma-ban while you are here?

He is referring to a suspension that has no expiration date.

From my understanding, Forum Ninjas can only temporarily suspend users, Master Forum Ninjas have access to the blacklist management, and superusers can ultraban if necessary. A suspension restricts a user from posting on the public forums and it also hides their posts. An ultraban restricts a user from accessing any page on Bungie.net while signed in, except for the homepage. I assume ban duration is decided by several factors including the type of violation, user ban history, user activity, user join date, and moderator judgement.

I think regular ninjas can only ban. Master forum ninjas can set the actual length of the ban. That's what I remember, can we get a ninja in here to clear things up?

That's what I said in my post. From what I recall, Forum Ninjas can select Unleash Ninjas and choose a temporary ban duration (3 days, 7 days, 14 days, ect.) and Master Forum Ninjas have access to blacklist management (add a new temporary/permanent blacklist as well as modify an existing one).

I think regular ninjas can only ban the user. As in the ban length could be anything; 7 days, 14 days, etc. I think master forum ninjas can change the length of a ban and permantly blacklist people. Lets say someone is banned for spam, a regular ninja can only ban that user for the default of 3 or so days. While a master forum ninja might ban that user for the same thing, but instead of 3 days, 7, or 14 days. I think that's how it works, i'm not really sure.
