Subject: Can reach give you actual health problems?

I change shapes just to hide in this place but im still im still an animal...

As much as i try i cant help but get seriously irritated when i play reach.

Go on free for all, people teaming up.
Go on infection, people camp and ruin the game.
I get a power weapon, get betrayed.
I get in a vehicle, get betrayed, or damaged enough to make it useless.
I get betrayed on foot by griefers 3 times no boot, i betray them once, boot and ban.
I never win, MVP a hefty majority of games, team mates always have a quarter of the enemy teams score and never work together.
Touching people without moving in vehicles, betrayal and boot.

Halo reach was my number one most played game by quite a bit, i've just calmly launched it over the fence, unfortunately the wind caught it and it went into next doors yard instead of oblivion, no more halo till H4.

I've only just done this after playing it since launch, no matter how hard i try i cant help but get wound up by trolls who seem to buy the game purely to take away the fun of others.
For those who also get occasionally stressed out, how do you manage?

And i cant play with friends, all of them hate halo reach, i wonder why?

Inb4buthurtorcrysummoar, i actually feel relieved the option to play reach is no longer there, i can finally play the back log of games gathered since launch ^_^

"In Halo 3 not all 50's were good players, but all good players were 50's."

Your opinion is invalid.

I don't know about health problems, but the Halo series actually made me a racist. No joke.

Halo multiplayer sucks!

Based on campaigns

Halo 2 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo 3 > Reach/CE tied

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

All the terrible people who I hate on Reach are directly proportional to my anger, and therefore also my blood pressure.
Also, sitting in one spot for more than 24 hours, just playing games, caused a death a couple months ago.

most of my friends hate reach too, what can you do. Take a break for a while, play some BF3, maybe some sports games. Then play ONE game of CoD and you'll get really mad. Come back to Reach you'll think its a blessing!
That's what I did, and I love Reach again. And don't take the game too seriously, there's no ratings or skill involved in a rank like H3

~:O>~~

For me... it was how unfocused the game felt playing it -AA's + Power Weapons + Player Skill + Luck- compared to Halo 3. That... and the main trilogy was introduced during significant times in gaming history (advent of online gaming, becoming a cultural phenomenon, introduction of a new console) ODST and Reach thrived in the aftermath of the franchise's illustrious history.

If Reach was based on it's technical merits and software programming, it rises above any previous Halo title; of course without that 'connection' with the game (it failed to realize a cohesive and progressive multiplayer) with the exception being Invasion... but it still lacked the ethereal experience that previous titles brought before it.

And in my opinion... Halo was best remembered by it's story and campaign. The real fans are those of us that still care about Master Cheif.

People who get angry over a game are idiots.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

I'm new to competitive Halo and Halo itself (Reach being my first video game ever actually). Message me if you want to play;

Reach: MLG, Arena, Doubles, BTB and customs.
Halo 3: Ranked MM and customs.

Also I have every Halo title and all of its DLC on the Xbox 360.

Thats what I thought when I read it too.... I see a new meme coming on!

Anyway, OP, I know what you mean. I myself have realised (as I almost put my fist through a wall one day) that getting angry wont help. Certainly, it pisses me off too, but I just go with what happens, becuase getting angry only impairs your thought process and makes you worse.

I rarely play reach now, and when I do its MLG, snipers, or arena. Even arena angers me from time to time, but other than that its pretty good.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

If you have extremely long gaming sessions (sitting with your knees bent) you can have a small risk of developing a deep venous thrombosis (basically a blood clot in your leg) which can break off and cause pulmonary embolism which will result in your death. This is pretty dependent on your diet and exercise tendencies and your predisposition for getting clots. I know 1,000 Ways to Die talked about a case of this happening.

And if you're Ghost you can suffer a brain aneurism from raging too hard.

If you're epileptic, the game can cause you to have a grand mal seizure which could potentially kill you, but probably won't.

I suppose if you're a total basement dweller and practically never move from your gaming stoop you could develop sores which, if left untreated, could become infected to the point of causing sepsis which is a deadly condition. If that's not treated quickly, you'll go into septic shock and die. Highly unlikely scenario though. Never heard of it happening.

I <3 Halo:Reach - amazingly fun and best campaign + amazing Soundtrack
I <3 Halo 3:ODST - best soundtrack + Firefight + Coastal Highway and Mombassa Streets, amazingly unique campaign.
I <3 Halo 3 - best multiplayer levels + Forge + best Custom Games + soundtrack
I <3 Halo 2 - amazing huge fun campaign + soundtrack + Fun multiplayer
I <3 Halo: CE - started it all

OP, I feel like you are over-exaggerating. Sure the betrayal stuff happens, but I can guarantee it doesnt happen every game.

Also, camping in infection is how you play. I highly doubt you go running out alone in the middle of the map.
