Subject: Do You Think Bungie Will Ever Offer Tours?

Spread the love...

I know Bungie doing tours right now isn't possible because of all the top secret stuff they're currently making, but do you think they'll have tours after Destiny is released?

And by tours I mean calling in a couple weeks/months ahead and planning the tour. Like telling them how many people there are, etc. Of course, you would pay. And the tour wouldn't have to encompass all of Bungie. Maybe just the lobby, trophy room, snack room, and some other interesting/historic rooms.

So what do you think? And, on a slightly related note, if Bungie did offer tours, would you take one?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Bungie is a place of business, Bungie has had community events but I think tours are out of the question.

They won't.

That's why I'm positive the One of Seven prize is a trip to bungie.

Can't wait.

Didn't you get a ticket?

If you are going, bring back pics plox.

No. It's a business, not an amusement park or a museum. Just like Dunder Mifflin Paper Company/Saber Printing Company wouldn't give tours around their office. People come there to do a job.

If you want to walk around there, work there.

Less bragging in so many posts, more waiting until you know what it is.

Haven't they offered some charity tours before? I wouldn't be surprised, either way, as long as it's a rare occasions. Although, it is surprising to think the gaming industry has come far enough...

Or you could be a pizza delivery guy.

Stupidity, when sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic

If I'm not mistaken, Urk or someone gave a pretty definitive "no" a while back. It's a place of business, not a museum.

Where have you been?

During game night last tuesday.

DeeJ: Hey Nick, are you Eric Duffy?

Me: Yes.

DeeJ: Are you really "One of Seven"?

Me: yes.

So yes, I will bring back pics, unless it isn't allowed.
However, just if he asked wheter you were One of Seven doesn't confirm (or even suggest) that it's a tour.

I wasn't prompting that.

Somewhere in the Contest terms, it says.

"Money spent will vary"

So, I mean, that is really bad, because I live in Virginia.

Somewhere in the terms it also says "Bungie is not responsible for any injury or death during the ONE OF SEVEN competition".

But that doesn't mean it's going to be a gladiatorial fight to the death.

They've done things similar to that. I know they auctioned trips to their studio. I think when one of the Mythic Map packs came out they auctioned a trip to Bungie where you would eat infinite pizza and play the new maps in the Bungie studio. I could be wrong though that was a long time ago.

I have seen you future

like people have said before, Bungie is a business, not a museum. They won't be giving tours after Destiny is released because 1: They will have new secret things to work on and 2: Employees don't want to be gawked at while they are working.

Maybe the twist is you get a free tour at Bungie IF you defeat Jerome.

I <3 you too Bungie

No. Touring a facility with mostly employees and not a physical product production isn't common. Plus, Bungie employees aren't goldfish, they're little pale humans staring at screens.

What?

Okay, I think assuming it's a trip to Bungie is more realistic than a gladiatorial fight.

You might die of how awesome Bungie is, or get hurt falling off the rock wall.

I know, but the point I'm trying to make is that just because it says you have to pay for yourself doesn't mean you're paying for an airplane trip.

Hell, the one of seven could be something like a "test out the new hawtness first" or "get a beta key of Destiny", and the "Money spent will vary" could be referring to you having to buy a computer/xbox to do those things.

Bungie is just covering all the loopholes (as any company should do), so don't jump to conclusions.

:)

I don't think I would even want to go tour the studio right now. It sounds like there is a lot of crunching happening. Bungie is a dangerous place at the moment.
