Your mom.

As many of you may or may not know, this week a huge event in current news is the Colorado wild fire that has spread to 17 square kilometers. It's burned almost 350 household in total and killed 1 person already.

In fact, it was declared a national disaster this morning.

My question is this: has Bungie ever sold something or did something to where the profits go to a charity foundation to help out financially for these causes? I'm sure that the community here (in it's current state) isn't as large as it normally is (because Bungie is dark right now). However, I feel that there could be something done like bracelets, T shirts, or something.

Has this ever been done before? Maybe even when hurricane Katrina happened a few years ago? Just sparking some discussion on this. Thanks.

The last thing they did was the Haiti thing and Japan...I think.

The profits for the 20th anniversary stuff went to charity (I can't remember where exactly) through the Bungie Foundation.

Bungie fans and Halo 2 players have together, simply by purchasing "Fight the Flood" T-Shirts, raised over $175,000 in donations to the American Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Katrina..

I think Bungie is presently focusing on the Bungie Foundation, which currently helps children in hospital.

Bungie has done a lot of charity over the years. Bungie has done things in the past like the 'Be a Hero' campaign for Haiti which is when they sold shirts for charity and they've sold other good stuff for charity.

Bungie created the 'Bungie Foundation' which does some awesome things for children.

Bungie does some amazing stuff.

Your mom.

Well, that's pretty kickass if you ask me. Thanks for the links, I'll be sure to read.

Fight The Flood = $175,000(+)
500 swag bags at $35 each = $17,500
382 votes at $25 (minimum) = $9,550
A Night With Bungie for Dr.SS SC= $6,000
Be A Hero (Emblem) = $77,000
---------------------------------------------

Total Raised = $285,050 (Minimum).

That's a minimum total I have deduced from the numbers that Bungie made publicly announced. It's hard to say what the official amount raised for charity is but I'm sure it's a good bit higher than 285 grand.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

Haiti Earthquake, Japan Earthquake, and Hurricane Katrina are a few of the ones I know they did some sort of charity for (raising money through sales to give to the Red Cross).

"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

Get at me

I think the last thing they did was the blue Japan quake bracelets.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

They've done tons and tons of charities, because they are awesome like that.

Кланяються мені!

Yes they did the wristbands too which I believe was highly successful.

I remember buying a wrist band from the Bungie store to help raise money for Japan.
