Oh and once again, lol at the people who STILL think E0S is a legit account. This is mid-level trolling at best but you people just keep biting at it...

Oh god, who left the Complainers Cage open? We need to close it again so no more get out.

I thought the reach forum was that cage.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

What seems like the more likely scenario?

A) Casuals asked to have ranks removed because they couldn't handle the truth.

or

B) Competitives asked to have ranks removed so that MM would put them against noobs so they can pad their stats then come onto a forum and brag about their K/D ratios.

That's what I thought.

See, the problem is. You complained because it was taking TOO long to find opponents when there is a proper ranking system in place.

Which...is naturally, common sense when you think about it.

Plus, no matter how much you deny it.
You so called 'competitives' love playing against noobs.
Because noobs make you look good, which is a far cry from what you are in life.

How do I know this?
Because I've done grown out of it already.
You're barely reaching puberty, metaphorically speaking.

Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

Look at me
I'm a wolf in sheeps clothing.

If you honestly think A.
Think about the wolf.

What category do you think I fall under?
Competitive or Casual...

Casual right? WRONG!

I fight for the casuals... true. Because I'm not selfish.

All I really know is...

Shadowrun.
One of the greatest FPS's ever made...... EVER!

Was pretty much a failure because of 2 reasons. 1 being a bigger reason than the other.

The lesser reason.
Only had 2 gametypes, and both gametypes followed too closely to Counterstrikes 1 life to live rules. (The reason I stopped playing it)

The bigger reason why Shadowrun failed?
Because it didn't have stat tracking.

Think about that for a second.
Then think about how -blam!- lame competitive players are to let that 'diamond' go to waste, because it didn't cater to their selfish little needs to stroke off to a worthless number.

That's why I hate competitives.

Stat tracking and ranks have done nothing but breed idiots.
Look no further than Halo and CoD for proof of that.

Glad to consider myself an old-school competitive turned casual. Because the current gen of competitive, is a sad excuse for greifers.

You do realize that good players were more impressed with stats obtained at 50 high in H3 than inflated social k/d ratios, right?

Any retard can get a high k/d in social - look at Reach. Getting this stuff at high level play was much more impressive than beating up on 3 guests - which is what we're stuck doing since casuals whined about ranks.

You expect people to not try the best because you're bad? What? What happy fairy land do you live in?

And I've been playing PC games for years now, and theres no such thing as honor there. Maybe theres more host advantage, cheating, and modding, but no honor rules.
