- civilians age 17+ are eligible for active duty (exceptions can be made)
- A working speech unit is NOT required

Isn't it a little odd to have an age requirement but no microphone requirement? Technically a 21 year old and a 12 year old could seem the exact same in a game... It is just while chatting that you would notice the difference.

It's because it's possible that someone's mic is broken. It happens, so i'm not making it mandatory. Besides, when someone posts in the group forum or plays with the group, you can tell if they're a little kid.

You'd be surprised. I have seen just as many mature kids as I have seen immature adults, which is why I personally am never a fan of age restrictions.
