My girlfriend recently got Live so she could stream Netflix, so I recently I find myself over there more often playing Reach online. Well, it's fun, but I have a couple, two, actually, bones to pick.

1. Why did Bungie see it as a good idea to reward my single shot kills with a banner that entirely covers my crosshair? I've lost count of how many times I've died/almost died/missed out on a kill because I couldn't see anything. Stupid.

2. Why can't I pick which game types I want to play? For example, if I want to play SWAT territories then I should be able to choose it; not have to wait through five slayers. I assume this is so people don't have to wait for other players to be found, but I'd assume that enough people play Reach that this wouldn't be an issue. And either way you could just give everyone the option of choosing their own type or choosing random. I don't understand.

Anyway, it's fun, but I had to vent and I thought in the process I could get some answers, seeing as how I've never had Live myself and haven't spent much time playing MP.

Agreed, and we know.

You'd assume wrong. It was the same in Halo 3. Some populations can't sustain themselves. So they have to be narrowed down. That's just how it is. I'd have loved to have a BUNGLE playlist in Halo 3. But instead because it's such a niche type of gameplay, we only got a single BUNGLE game thrown into a bigger playlist, Action Sack. That's just how things work in order to keep a stable population.

Rocket race had it's own playlist and grifball has it's own.

There are dominant niches that have invaded the playlists in a larger fashion than BUNGLE has. Community slayer and community BTB have utterly taken over large swathes of matchmaking.

The thing that is lacking in Reach is a weekend playlist; this is where all of what I have listed and more should be housed.

Yes, what is this. I see this in Halo 4, which I think is bloody annoying.

BF3 and COD do this, and it sucks.

Regarding your search for game types, too many game types would be terrible, besides I think REACH as way too many.

A custum search would be better, we may see this in Halo 4.
