Bungie will have finally gotten M$ to give us all flames in Halo 3.

not really.

That was honestly a great Bungie Day when we had the flames for a day. I wish they had just unlocked them for everyone when 343 became in charge of that Halo stats.

Someone asked for Bungie to unlock the flames for everybody in Halo 3, but they said that it was harder to do than it looked.

ISU Cyclones!

I'm curious if not anything involving the new IP then what?

They can't do anything with their old games very special like the old Bungie vs the World events since they don't control the online experiences of them anymore... it'll have to be all through the website, wouldn't it?

  • 07.05.2012 11:56 AM PDT

Wasn't there something put out last year by Bungie, to a select few winners of the birthday card contest, that they should expect something on Bungie Day? They recieved a "golden ticket" and they shouldn't "open" it or give the code to anyone else because it could only be used once.

This would make sense. It works out perfectly for people like me who are vacationing across the country and away from their xbox.

This could be the clue we've been waiting for, or we are all just a paranoid public conjuring some crazy theories. Ether way this will be good.

It's good old fashioned Internet insanity both ways. One is already happening (ex. This thread), but I hope it is a real clue. Either way we find out on BUNGIE Day.

Hoping it is something big, I'm not expecting a full on Destiny reveal but as long as it wasn't a huge let down like Aerospace was.

A small piece of information, like a part of a picture, would make sense. And I believe Aerospace just has not found the right game/been advertised enough. It has a lot of potential, but it is still relatively new and is most likely being perfected. The community just needs to give it more time.

Something tells me this isn't much either. But I can hope. Plus, somone needs to get the community fired up for BUNGIE Day. It might as well be me.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

I'm goin to agree with this. Remember, the first "Destiny" game isn't comi out until 2013, so it's going to be some time before they're out of the dark.

Sounds like all the cryptic crap they've been saying.

You gotta love 'em, but the hate on IE was hilariously predictable.

Bungie day is just around the corner, and the community is ravenous for information. I may have just found something to quell your hunger.

On Bungie's twitter account I noticed a reply that, while related to Bungie Day, seemed rather insignificant. After taking a second look, it actually appeared to be a subtle hint of something that might happen on Bungie Day. Screenshot of Post

The post states:

Bungie Day is immune to darkness. It's light will shine, all on its own.

Judging from this post, we can determine that Darkness will temporarily be lifted on Bungie Day. This is not the typical Bungie Day activity where they play games with the community online. Darkness is used to refer to hiding all new videogame info from non-employees. This means the hint is related to new videogame info. And what have we been expecting info on for a while?

I believe we are looking at a hint to the supposed announcement of Destiny. (Or possibly something from Aerospace)

What do you think Community?

I think it would be f***ing epic if they made a colossal, unanticipated, and unexpected revelation at the very end of the day of what they're doing.
