I have no idea why this would be true. I mean, you move slower and the blast radius is bigger. In Halo 3, I used to be a beast in 1 v 1 encounters because of the good ol', "grenade as they walk around the corner and headshot". Right to their feet everytime. I can't really do that anymore in Reach. I always miss and end up having to DMR duel them with full health. Every grenade seems to bounce different, so many different textures. Plus, grenade trajectory is completely different depending on whether or not your standing still, walking backwards, or moving forward. It doesn't seem static like in Halo 3. Anyone else notice this?

It's not so much as the aim with my grenades but the exploding times.

The fuse times are much higher in REACH than Halo 3.

So you may throw the perfect grenade, but due to extended fuse time, your enemy has probably moved away from it.

bounce a frag off the wall next to you instead of throwing at the ground as they come around the corner. itll bounce right near their feet and go off. at least it usually does for me.

No. Because blast radius of the grenade is large enough to where its not difficult to not get a good bounce to hit your target.

This couldn't be more wrong. The fuse times in Reach are way too short. Along with slower acceleration and larger blast radii, grenades in Reach are much more powerful than in 3.

Halo Reach frags, are like bowling balls, they stay on your feet or stuck.

While

Halo 3, are like ping pong grenades, they bounce everywhere, but are more effective.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

Frag grenades in Reach are weird. They'll stick to you and seem to follow you sometimes. I've gone back and watched films where the grenade trajectories made absolutely no sense. It's almost like an auto-aim feature, but with grenades.
