Do they get simply discharged from all of the military, or do they work with organisations like ONI?

"I may not be perfect, but always been true."

They get wrinkly and their muscles get floppy, so they proceed to kill the Covenant troops by slapping them with their flaps of skin.

They get a large pension, around 200,000 cR per day.

Cop lights, flash lights
Spot lights, strobe lights
Street lights
Fast life, drug life
Thug life, rock life
Every night

They don't live to tell the tell.

"Happiness is like glass, you might not always notice it but if you change your view and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light."

I would think that they would serve ONI due to their intelligence and pure loyalty. I would honestly doubt that any spartan would live that long though but some Spartans like Maria may start a family up if they want to. It really depends on the Spartan and none of them have reached that age yet.

Spartans, during augmentation, are injected with something that nearly removes their -blam!- and social desire.

It's a suppresant so they can control their impulses on duty, but it isn't removed. Maris did in fact have a family

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

It's a side effect from augmentation. It didn't happen to all the Spartans.

Glory and fame, blood is our name!
Souls full of thunder, hearts of steel!
Killers of men, a warrior's friend!
Sworn to avenge our fallen brothers!
Sons of the gods, today we shall die.
Open Valhalla's door!
Let the battle begin, with swords in the wind! Hail Gods of War!

No, that's impossible. Offspring, even from a spartan could never hope to inherit any of the muscle mass or the enhancements of the Spartans. That's like saying a body builders children will be buff. None of its genetic or "natural".

Continue fighting. I doubt that actually. They probably go on to train other Spartans. Look like Mendez, or be high ONI agents. They don't just stop.

I was under the impression they did, I fully understand the problems with it but I thought Spartan 1's for example left some of the traits to there children... The Spartan 1.1s.

I might be entirely wrong on that however.
