Does she like to download random crap without realizing what shes doing? Do you seem to have 300 weather update programs? Does your clock laugh at you while you sleep? How about the popups? Are the good -blam!- sites or the kind you hide from children?

We need details man, DETAILS!!

Times like these are when I thank God that I am the only one with access to my PC and I treat it right.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

I have a spyware scanner that until now has caught everything. but now I have something that it won't find. It causes this little blue bar to pop up on the bottom of the screen when I open up internet explorer, and you can't right click on it. Anyone know anything about this?

Get Ad-aware SE as well as SpyBot. That's right, get both of them. Each tends to catch things the other misses. Get rid of any p2p software and clean your registry with programs like WinOptimizer or RegCleaner. Just google 'em.

Oh, I most certainly do it all by hand. I'm no scrub.

I can't exactly vouch for other people's levels of computer literacy though. Assumptions are an ugly thing.

One: It comes from websites with cookies (majority of your problem I'm sure)
Two: Stuff people can send her/that she downloads off Kazaa or other.
Three: Websites in general have 'auto-downloads' especially -blam!- sites which I'm not sure if she's visiting? Depending on her age obviously.

Certain companies WANT you to report spyware or instances like that, for example SpySweeper software by Webroot wants people to report them. To add to it, they generally respond in 24 hours!
