Subject: Has anything been revealed?

~:O>~~

In the C# file on notepad (right-clicking the home screen image and saving the file) it reveals an interview that states somewhere that the 'crunch period' is scheduled for a later date (crunch = polishing the finished product)... however... the development team is reported to have been working 'overtime' well into the nights... which implies -i dunno-

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Make sure to rally behind one now so we can all have that awkward moment later when you realize that Dead Orbit endorses canabalism or something like that.
Or that the seven seraphs will be some terrorist organization o.O
Oh the list could go on and on! We don't know their morals, their goals, their beliefs... it's going to be oodles of fun.

"WHAT? I've been wearing the shirt of a child slavery group for the past six months?!?!?"

lol

This is going to be epic trolling. I wonder when people see the symbols when we are wearing the shirts, are they going to think "wtf is the symbol, some sort of cult". It might just be a cult, lol.
How does one decide which shirt to pick? What if I buy a certain shirt and I decide to join the complete opposite faction? Master Trolls Bungie :)

Today would be the perfect day to reveal the game.

DO ET, BUNGIE.

Practically speaking, I don't expect Destiny to be revealed and launched in the same year. Bungie usually leaves over a year between reveal and launch, or at least it has since Halo 3. ODST was intended as an E3 reveal, so that theoretically counts.

Remember the LA news article? The game is released next year.

I was wondering about that too and it just clicked! It's a joke about the Bungie-Activision contract. :)

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

All I can hope is that when they reveal anything else, I have my laptop with me this time.

When he was younger, he was the one who always had the jokes and riddles that would keep the spirits of the Spartans high. Over the years however, his lifetime of combat had hardened him, as it had all of the Spartans. Within Will, John thought, something special had been lost.

About Destiny?

The Panda is curious, Urk, DeeJ or Acronos haven't posted anything yet...

Uhhh, well it's going to be on the PS3. And it isn't Halo. And it has something to do with being starside. That's about it.

Edit: Windmills, also confirmed.

Are you saying PS3 exclusive? It was my impression that the move to Activision had multi-platform in mind.

It's not exclusive. If I remember correctly, it goes to Xbox exclusively temporarily, then on to the PS3. I could be wrong.

I'm just really hoping to put my new power-PC to work. It'd be nice if they showed that platform some love. Most devs don't these days.

According to the contract the first Destiny Game will be an Xbox Exclusive for the first year, at which time Bungie may release the PS3 version of the game if time / budget allows. You never know though, we might not see any PS3 brethren until the second game.

I can only hope, I prefer to play on my PC. The only reason I have an Xbox was because of Halo. I'll play Destiny on the Xbox if I have to, but I would be very happy if the PC got Bungie love again.

Doesn't really apply to me since I don't have a PS3, but for that fanbase, I can only hope they get a release as well. I can understand if they maybe want to see how things go, but the plan still seems a little weird to me.

I don't think Bungie would even think of doing a PS3 exclusive, considering the nature of this community.

It's their first time working on a Playstation, and they just want to keep their bases open if porting it over doesn't go over so well. 2014 will be the earliest that we'll see it come out for the PS3, that is certain.

How does that make sense? First of all, the front page news link (planet, septagon, etc) isn't an image you can download. Second, opening an image in Notepad doesn't yield C# text.

I actually dont think it made any sense.

So On Notepad, I click the home screen image and saving file (wat?), to have it reveal and interview (wat?) that states somewehre that the crunch period is set for a later date (wat?)

Are we even talking about Bungie here?

No joke. Wow.

They've said through mailbags etc that yes they are "crunching" right now. But it doesn't necessarily mean anything. It could mean they are preparing a demo of the game but they've said they "crunch" at various times during the development cycle to reach milestones.

So to me the big question is: is Bungie going to reveal at a major "expo"-type event or at their own press conference (ala Microsoft Surface, Apple iPad). Tech companies seem to be getting away from the big expos. Also, some theorize Destiny is a launch title (timed-exclusive though) for the next Xbox and if true they wouldn't announce until Microsoft does.

Lots of possibilities and we still don't know much despite the few leaks we've had.
