I know I'm going to be one of the first to say it (and most likely called a d-bag for doing so), but I find it a little stupid that this year's Bungie Day was based around seven people. I mean, there is quite literally nothing else for the community. Oh, and avatars/desktops and t-shirts (THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR) are pretty lame. They're all just a bunch of clean-cut, easy to make logos that we've been seeing for well over a year now.

Way to go Bungie. You failed your most important day, yet again.

So DeeJ, is this it?

Yessir.

Good job, Community. I mean, it would have been more interesting for a winner to reveal themselves and share their riches, but there is just no barrier that can separate a gamer from information.

We all thought you would enjoy Marty's gesture of good-sportedness in creating a victory message for the One of Seven.

You have other conversations to enjoy, so I will leave you to it. That's all I got.

Happy Bungie Day. I need breakfast.

Yay?

Wait, that still leaves the geomancy message!

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I love how you say they failed. You do realize they could have done nothing, right? Bungie doesn't have to do anything for us, and seeing how they are dark and don't have much to reveal to us, what they have done, is pretty awesome.

They gave us shirts and logos for what are probably factions in a game they have yet to announce. I find that awesome and I'm planning on picking them up myself because they are awesome.

Learn to appreciate. :)

Aforementioned metaphors with semiconsious ocean laws.

Bungie Day for me is about playing Halo all day and celebrating Bungie. Do I wish that I had gotten a ticket or atleats a bag? of course. But today is about celebrating Bungie, not necesarily celebrating the fans. Its a day for us to unite and show our love for a great game studio. So go pop in your Halo disc and enjoy it.

Come on now. It wasn't that bad. The shirts and scout books are pretty cool, and the 3 graphics they released are nice. You're probally just upset that you aren't One of Seven, which is understandable, we all are. But that anger, jealousy and rankling will pass. It's not like Bungie had a wide array of options for this years Bungie Day; they can't hold any special event or giveaway in the games anymore (I don't think) but they did their best. :/

Thanks Bungie for being so generous again, I'll certainly be buying more! Happy Bungie Day everybody! ^_^

EDIT: Remember, all proceeds from sales up until the 21st go to charity. It helps fund the Bungie Foundation, which is simply wonderful!

Actually, I'm glad I'm not One of Seven, and for one reason only: I wouldn't be able to fly out there. I simply don't have the money. And, if I was one of the people, I would feel even angrier that I'm on the cusp of actually being able to meet Bungie.

I suppose the one good thing Bungie has done is made the profits of their sales go to charity. Besides that, they've failed. Like last year.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

At first I thought their prize was a video of Marty rock climbing. Anyway, I am very jealous.
