“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

If it went entirely away, I honestly don't think I'd come back to the forums again.I lol'd.
I am serious, but it wasn't intended as a threat or a cry for attention. It would just change the atmosphere around here, and I doubt I'd care for it. I don't come around very often as it is anyway.
Everyone would still post the same things in the same style, with or without the filter. The only change is that their posts would be much more effective at displaying their point and browsing the pages would be much more efficient, I'm tired of having to use context clues to find out, or at least hypothesize, what the filtered word is sometimes.I don't see why you care so -blam!- much. It replaces profanity with -blam!-s, I find that funny. It's a lighthearted way to censor words that don't have a place in civil discussion.
This is Bungie's website, it reflects their company whether they like it or not. In the past, Ninjas have been quoted by "news" websites as being employees. What that shows is that there are people who check these forums who do not post here regularly, who do not understand our humor, and who would be offended by such profanity (conjecture).
