And lol community carnages
What's so "lol" about them?
I participated in my first one ever and I had a blast. Played some classic Halo 3 with some people from the forums (even got lucky enough to be in a lobby with a Bungie Employee today) and new people I hadn't met before. Overall we had a blast and don't regret a single second of it. Plus I'm also signed up for the Halo Reach carnage tonight and I'm excited.
Bungie Day has always been about Community interaction, and that's what Community Carnage is all about.Half the same people play in the Community Carnages every time one is available. The community is supposed to look forward to Bungie Day, not 16 to however many people play in those events.
Pretty much this. I was just making sure, because I assumed that with us having LITERALLY NOTHING to do normally, and with them having not a single game out, they'd do something today that would involve us all. Something small, hell, like a few Halo games with employees, but all that really happened was some badass avatars and some even more badass backgrounds. That's why I'm disappointed, and everyone can calm their inner fanboy and stop being so defensive.
But yeah, I know, every BDay someone comes along and -blam!-es, and I wasn't really trying to -blam!-, just requesting clarification.
Also rascal if I had a godamn nickel for everytime you told someone to calm down I'd probably have a good... like... erm... $0.65. Point is, post on topic or GTFO dude.
They don't manage Halo anymore, it's not their place to organize events for a game they don't have the rights to. The best they could do is a series of custom games, which would involve an awful process of invitations and friend requests.. I don't want to think about how awful of an experience that would be.
I don't know what else they could have done today.
