Key

No. It would make the forums look less clean, just like emoticons would.

The flood would abuse that. Majorly.

We had it before but got out of control.

For Tru7h and Honor

Because it would be abused and almost never used for it's purpose

Staring open-mouthed at Recon Armor since 2010.

We would have a few users who would abuse the system. Sadly, a few bad apples spoils the whole bunch in this scenario.

Bye.

Anybody else imagine the site being covered with memes if we could post images?

And just imagine a Cena impostor using it.

I'm going to say no, and one of my biggest reasons is The Flood. Other reasons are, it works just fine how it is. This layout is different from other forums, I feel like it would disrupt the flow.

Doubt it. It would be like /b/ but with rules. People wold post relevant pictures

No, they wouldn't. While I respect this site and the community, it's no different from any others. And I see memes spammed on every other website, ever.

Calling it /b/ with rules doesn't help your case.

I'm rather certain that /b/ with rules is nowhere close to being /b/.

Why can't we do this? Sure I know that the first day people will upload pronz to troll that would only be the first. Look at other like Bodybuiling.com - they have a perfect system. Also a rep system would be nice ( I guess titles are this pretty much ).

Thoughts?

Hmmm, I suppose that would be decent. However, I'm sure it would be heavily used and therefore flood threads and the screen, an opt in/out feature would be nice; same with the profanity filter.

Also, no, titles are nothing like BB.com's rep system.

This is not true. People would do it consistently. Maybe not every day, but at least a couple times a week in certain forums alone.

This actually happened for a day, due to someone finding a bug. To say it was just filled with memes puts it incredibly lightly. Incredibly.

There is NO WAY we will ever get to post images. Ever.

I would rather not have Cena-wannabies spamming the forum with an incessant wave of obscenities.

Exactly. It was for one day. Obviously people will spam dicks

But if it was permanent people will be use to it and the trolls would get bored on day two.

Also, a rep system would be good. Think about it, I'd you have 30+ rep you an post pictures. Or if you have a member title to keep trolls from spamming.

The most basic title is Noble, right? So only Noble+ members can post pictures.

Rank =/= maturity. I've seen high ranked members pull some stupid things.

The system does it for us. There's no need of a biased manual system when a machine can take raw data about each user and add a personal value to each one of us.

I wouldn't like the title system determining whether or not you'd be allowed to post pictures or not. Just because someone doesn't have a title doesn't mean they would abuse the privilege. A rep system would be much more efficient.

Is that a threat? D:

OT: take a quick look at trolls abusing basic named hyperlinkes, and you can imagine that there is NO way the internet could EVER be trusted.

If I am not posting, then I am reading what you might have posted.

I don't mind not being able to post pictures in the forums, seems pointless, actually..

The guys with the gold don't use it often, so which basically makes this feature useless.

So, meh, posting pictures.
