I am 100% sure that Bungie going to release information on Destiny by 2013. And no, that's not a guess. It's an absolute fact. Why? Because of common sense.
Bungie signed a ten-year contract with Activision in early 2010. This means that they now have a little more than seven years to work with. And, being that they signed a ten-year, Activision is expecting a series. Granted, Bungie could sign another contract with Activision (if they're still mid-series, or just want to continue the contract), but I'm assuming that Activision is going to want more out of Bungie than just a couple of games.
So, from what I can see, we're looking at Bungie released information by early 2013 -- and I say that with 2013 being the limit. If Bungie goes any time past next year's E3 (which they won't, since they said soon, which implies to me that they'll do it far earlier than E3 2013), they'll be -blam!-. They'll have already killed off a third of their contract without doing anything, commercially.
Thoughts?
