Subject: what do i do?

when i play reach matchmaking it says "Load Failure" and kicks me out. i can only play at certain areas, only the ones that show the picture in the box. My xbox makes a ticking sound when the areas have no picture in the box. Help!!

Sounds like a damaged disc. Check the disc surface for scratches, marks and missing material. That could be the cause of your issue. Do DLC maps work?

Try installing the game to your hard drive. It's most likely a scratched disk, I recommend buying a new one, or downloading it from the marketplace.

they do work only sometimes. sometimes it says, "failed to load content"

it is pretty scratched i should probably get a new one. but what about the xbox ticking?

The Xbox making a ticking noise is it trying to move the disc into a position where it can find the data it is after. As it's scratched, it can't find the data and emits a tick-like sound as it fails to find the information. It's nothing to worry about unless the disc is shattered like my Halo 3 one. I'm worried it'll burst one day.

Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.

Also, this should be in the Flood since it really has nothing to do with Bungie.
