Subject: Reach: "Failed to Load Content" message

The message "Failed to load content for unknown reason" appears whenever my sister tries to play Reach. She's using either a 2007 or 2008 model XBOX360, not sure if it's the actual Xbox itself, because it works fine on my Slim.

Can anybody help?

Have her play it on the slim then.

Play another game then go back to it. Works for me.

U Wot m8

it's the servers resetting. I sign out and sign in and it works for 1 search than you got to do it again.

I thought it was because your hard-drive is over heating and it's the XBOX'x safe guard from losing you information you have stored. imo

What the user above me said sounds more legit... but you can never be too careful.

Winner of the 2012 Lurker of the Year award.

I'm watching you.

What the heck are you guys talking about? It's highly unlikely it's the xbox's fault and server issues make no sense with a disk loading issue.

If you're getting this message when trying to play content originally on the disk then your disk may be scratched or broken. If you're getting this from dlc content then I would first recommend redownloading it.

Disk scratch. Borrow Reach from a friend or rent it, install it onto your hard drive and than play with your disk. Your xbox will see that reach is in the disk tray, and start to run it off of your hard drive. This will fix the issue.

This op. It happened to me and from then on, I install the game to my hard drive. Much easier on Xbox and disk.

I play for fun and armory completion. :)

You can install the broken disc before it gives you the message and then play it, you don't even need to borrow a disc. I've done that with games before.

Do I really need a signature?

Disk scratch, you probably have it installed on your Slim.
