Right now I'm on 343 GS and I'm running from the Flood, but I'm lost and can't get out. I get back to the light brige then get lost. Should I just start over from the begining, or can someone please give me some detailed instructions if you don't mind.

I get to this point...

On the ledge above to your left will be a few Jackals. Toss a grenade or two at them. Scrounge around on the floor for a plasma pistol. On the opposite side of the hall is a stack of Covenant storage bins. Hop up the pile and onto the catwalk above. Use your plasma pistol to take out the shields of the remaining Jackals and finish them off.

I've tried to jump up there, but I can't.

If you crouch when you jump, it makes it easier, unless it's the wrong spot, in which case, nothing will work.

I presume you are talking Legendary; and I haven't gotten that far yet (still in T&R). But I would suggest viewing the speed run that can be downloaded from goingnowherefast. (Just stick this word and "Halo" in a Google search, and the site will be one of your first hits.) I haven't seen it myself; but the speed runs I have seen are GREAT entertainment, besides probably answering your question.

Did you know that if you view all the speed runs consecutively you'll be at it for over 2 hours? Imagine: That's like a feature length movie with nothing but MC screaming through Halo on Legendary, as fast as the best players can push him! Now THAT'S entertainment!
