Thanks for ranging it to 3 months. This thread seems kinda pointless now, doesn't it?

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

OR.. the one of seven winners will be brainwashed after their tour and will tell us (wrong) things which Bungie wants us to believe...

My estimate is that there will be an NDA.

I highly doubt that, the people are not trusted to comply and chances are it would be leaked even with a NDA, they are intending to give some things away for sure.

This. Imagine you have 7 people. all got an in depth tour of bungie and destiny.

and then a piece of information comes out.

all 7 people say that it wasn't them.

Who do you sue?

the ONLY logical outcome if that the winners will be able to share everything with the community.

The contract they have to sign will probably say if any of them spill it they all can get sued. And if they don't sign it then no tour for them.

How do you expect seven people to sign a contract that binds them to consequences of decisions they don't make? I can assure you that there will be no "1 of 7" tour if Bungie forces something so ludicrous.

Though we have heard "not until next year" I'm still under the impression that we'll see the title at the VGA's. It simply is a solid announcement time, otherwise the company will be looking toward E3. The latter of which is entirely possible, but seems risky given the launch of later that year. I know I'd want to get it out there earlier.

I feel like they may announce it some time later, with Sir Paul.

Maybe a major awards ceremony, for the casual audience. Maybe an awards ceremony. But e3 sounds good, though i feel like acti will try to use cod to help support this. Maybe this right with the new cod game. And a single poster for both. Or a demo with the cod beta.

One cone to splatter em all!!

All off this is just wishfull thinking. Let it be guys. Were dark until A dim light blisters our sore eyes with new hope. Just go play Dayz until then :P.

My name is Mark Mezzetta and I was a beta tester for Bungie's game Oni and Take Two's game Myth 3: The Wolf Age.

My guess for a reveal would be February 9, 2013. That is the day of Activision's conference call, which they have mentioned this game in the last few years.

Announcing a game only to release it 1-3 months later is a bit stupid, IMO.

I cap fools.

I was thinking about this earlier. How would Bungie enforce an NDA? Unless they don't show any Destiny- related info...

My 'estimate' is that there will be an NDA.

Even so, it will be very difficult to the point of not possible to enforce.

Essentially the ONLY way to have any chance at enforcing an NDA like that would be to show each person a Completely and totally different part of destiny, with ZERO overlapping information.

and even then it would still be a LONG shot.

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

That's a good point. I'm so anxious to see what their project is after reading from the Destiny speculation website.

Too bad DeeJ has already confirmed that they have to sign an NDA.

One does not simply predict destiny.

  • 07.12.2012 11:26 AM PDT

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

I would like more info.

No decision, buy both! When Halo: CEA and AC revelations released at the same time I bought them both! The midnight release at my gamestop was great! Much bigger crowd for the two games. The only decision was which to play first... (ps halo won)
