Subject: FWC: Future War Cult or something else.....

I propose rather than FWC being the Future War something it is actually the Free World Coalition. Here's my reasoning. So we Have the New Monarchy. This is obviously a group that is in control or is seeking control. It only makes sense that there is an opposition force. None of the others seem to fit. Furthermore, the FWC logo doesn't look all that militaristic to me. If anything else it looks bright and welcoming. Almost like a campaign banner. Any other theories?

Anything is acceptable at the moment.

Woah there, that's a pretty huge leap to make.
It could really be a fast-food chain for all we know.

That will be $7.77.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

Or perhaps...

...The Furious Whirling Cabbages!

Key

Except for the fact that I'm pretty sure futurewarcult.com was registered on the same day that they trademarked FWC and the logo.

  • 07.10.2012 6:24 AM PDT

I propose FWC is future waffle cult.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

The reason it is believed to be 'Future War Cult' is because that domain was registered as a .com, .net and a .org the same day (20/9/2010) Dead Orbit and Seven Seraphs were registered by Bungie as .coms, .nets and .orgs.

Its still just all speculation though.

It's a'me, Sesto

Future War Cult sounds incredibly stupid, and the logo does not fit the name at all.

I mildly agree with this sentiment, and I'm entirely cool with calling it FWC until we get a more official name.

i disagree, how does FWC not go with "future war cult"? bugnie has already copyrighted "futurewarcult.com" and not other future war waffle or council. [fact]

Can anyone show me evidence that it was Bungie that registered those addresses?

This world wants to drag you down... And the weight, that guilt they want to hang around your neck, you don’t have to carry it one more step. You think they won’t let you rest, but it’s not up to them. It never was.

It doesn't say anything about who registered them. It just says "these sites were registered on this day".

Find me evidence that anyone anywhere knew about Destiny in the public before 9/20/2010 (the date these were all registered).
