Tell us about your new game and I will accept that apology.

Oh, that's easy. The new game I'm playing is Lord of the Rings Online. It's got Hobbits and everything.

Speaking of Lord of the Rings, how excited are you for "The Hobbit" from a scale of 1-7?

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

So we Have the New Monarchy. This is obviously a group that is in control or is seeking control.

Woah there, that's a pretty huge leap to make.
It could really be a fast-food chain for all we know.

Hello, welcome to FWC, how can I help you?

I'll have the seven-piece Seraph box and a Dead-hungry Orbit burger with fries please!

That will be $7.77.

This is exactly why I love the Bungie community.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

We are in desperate need of info bungie!

I posted this in another thread a few days ago but I'm not sure anyone noticed.

On the description page for the "FWC" T-Shirt the description reads:
Have you seen us wearing shirts like these? Drape yourself in an enigma from our future release.

Note the word future in the description. In other descriptions, like the ones for New Monarchy and Dead Orbit, clues are given to the name of the of the faction.

Dead Orbit:
You can be a dead ringer for a Bungie employee. Decorate your chest with this mysterious crest and watch the questions fly.

New Monarchy:
For Bungie Day, we are giving you the shirts off our backs. Adorn yourself with a mysterious icon fit for a king .

Notice the words dead (for Dead Orbit) and king (for New Monarchy). These descriptions lead me to believe the word "future" definitely stands for the "F" in FWC.

"When life hands you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back!" -Cave Johnson

That info blurb for the shirt says "drape yourself in an enigma", reminds me of Winston Churchill's whole "It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" quote. Churchill was a Freemason and allegedly into the occult, and he was also working to get England involved in WW2. Perhaps the Future War Cult is similar; a shadowy organisation with far-reaching goals working to bring about a greater conflict.

I don't think that word means what you think it means.

The Future War Cult are using the irony between their name, logo, and ideals to stand out as a group. It's and act of rebellion and an attempt to make them seem unpredictable.

But this feigned ignorance of common sense, and their chic logo makes it all too obvious what they really are...

Space hipsters, shipsters for short (you heard it here first)

Their intentions are good but in the end they are easily manipulated.

Look into my eye and do not tell me otherwise.
