Thats the one and only thing I wish for. That covers everything in the whole Halo 3 forum.

Ok So I will Explain.

I Want Halo 3 to fell Like my little brother couldnt pick it up and get 10 kills in a game. I like halo 2 and wouldnt't trade it or change it. I just have my hopes for Halo 3. I want to have less 12 year old kids and younger playing because the game takes more skill.Lets not expect to much. For me quality over quantity always wins. Remember how we over hyped halo 2 let's not do it again.

Want to know why People talk so much trash in halo 2. Because a 12 year old can be a 33 in slayer. That is all good luck to everyone.

Well, Halo is a 15+ game, so it's pretty illegal for those 12 year olds to be playing at all.

In Europe maybe but in America it is not illegal for them to be playing it if their parent's bought it. Sadly alot of American children whose parents have money are spoiled brats and get the M+ games. Which in america are 17+

In some states, it's illegal for store employees to allow children of that age to purchase M rated titles, but it's not illegal at all for the children to play them. It really just depends on the parents decision to allow their child to play content intended for an older, more mature audience.

Regardless of how much "skill" it takes to play the game, you're still going to get annoying players of all ages and walks of life. It just comes with the popularity of the game.

Obviously the following rant isn't directed at you Valaqil, but that is the most stupid thing I've ever heard. What's the point in putting an age cap on a game if alls it means is that they can't buy it over the counter?

It's like buying a gun for a serial killer, but it's ok because you bought it yourself!

lol the reason 33 isnt hard to get is because of bridges.. i think be for all this needs to happen we need to stop cheating. a 12 yr old can make friends with a bridger and get him self rank 40 and has bragging rights over millions of legit players.

This shouldnt happen until cheating is resolved.

The Xbox 360 matchmaking system should fix your problem about playing with children but, you gave no specific issue(s) about the gameplay.

wow Spark you played Doom when you were 5, your the Man. Most of us were playing outside at that age.

And it's not Ignorance, games movies etc. don't get ratings b/c they think it's fun to give them one. if it say 17+, 15+ it's meant for THAT age or higher not some 12 year old kid

He's got a good point and I agree with him completely. If the game where harder, less annoying little kids would be playing it. Perfect example: Counter-Strike. That's not a game you can just pick up and immediately play well. You rarely see anyone under 15 playing that game. So if Halo 3 here made more like Halo 1, with more emphasis on skill based playing rather than aim assisted, spray and pray gameplay(lol rhymed) I believe it will deter younger players who just play the the game to fell like their cool because thier playing a mature rated game.

You can't play games and play outside too? DAMN! What happened to society? Anyways, I have been playing M rated games all my life, I never turned out to be a murderer or anything. I never screamed at people online or teamkilled I am sure there are other younger people that were like me at that age. (I am 16 now) The ESRB is full of crap they have no idea how to rate that stuff, They re-rated GTA:SA and Oblivion because of USER CREATED CONTENT. That shouldn't affect the game developers. The only reason there are ratings on stuff now is so that some rare case a mental kid watches a movie/plays a violent game and acts out that in real life, they will blame it on the movie/game, in most cases its BS, There is a diffrence between real life and a game....Well, I got kinda sidetracked there but you get my point. I also had trouble wording that at the end so sorry if it is hard to understand.

You face an opponent who has never known defeat, who laughs in foreign tongues at your efforts to survive. This is Reply suicide.

"Oh Molly Connoly ruined my life, I thought the world should know."
Say Anything - Every Man Has A Molly

The "M"ature rating the game gets is a SUGGESTION to parents. It's not the law. Store clerks in some states can't sell the game to someone underage, but that doesn't stop parents or friends of the kid from buying it themselves.

The ESRB is simply a suggestion system and not the law. So get over yourselves on that issue.

And let me get this straight... You want the game to appeal to a MINORITY of players instead of the MAJORITY? So you don't want the game to sell well, 'eh? You know, 'cause targetting the smallest audience possible for your merchandise is the best way to ensure you make a lot of money.

Sometimes, I wonder if you people have even taken Economics 101...

I don't want the game to be harder. If I want harder, I play on Legendary. I want the game to be LESS exploitable. No superjumping/bouncing, no BXR/BXB exploits, host shottie, etcetera.

And here's a thought... If a little kid can get to level 33, but you can't... I do believe that with how EASY the game is, you're the one who sucks, not your little brother. You should get over the fact that maybe some little kids are better at a game than you are.

I can accept that there are players out there better than me, why can't you?

BTW, given enough time, ANYONE can reach 33, regardless of skill. I've played some pretty crappy level 35s before.

I'd also like to note that the original topic poster is probably one of those annoying little kids we all hate to listen to on XBL. So I seriously doubt he/she/it should really be talking on this subject at all. Especially when his/her/its posts are as intelligent as they are... My eyes hurt just trying to read that gobblede-blam!- nonsense.
