Subject: How Bungie is ending the Darkness via Twitter.

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

We all (most) love a good conspiracy thread, especially one about Destiny and the New Hawtness. So what do you make of this?

Bungie often makes some fairly odd replies on Twitter, but this one seems to just come out of the blue. Most people here are aware that Bungie Day just happened and that some Destiny information is just starting to come to light. Most of us also know that the New Hawtness has been hinted at for a while now.

The Webmaster is known to mess up Bungie's plans. As far as we, the community, are concerned, Bungie's plans are to hide any and all info on the new IP and New Hawtness from us. This tweet would seem to suggest that the Webmaster is going to try to mess up Bungie through the use of the twitter or by commenting on their tweets.

With all the new info being released and hinted at, coupled with them opening up to the community more (via One of Seven), I believe it is safe to say that this is a hint by Bungie that they are going to start the process of ending the darkess via their twitter soon.

Do you think this is likely? How do you think they are going to go through with this process? I would like to remind you they (probably DeeJ) made this tweet out of the blue (not in reply to something), so it must serve some purpose.

Ps. I made paragraphs to avoid walloftext syndrome.

He's probably just looking for his hat again. It's the source of his powers.

How so? They say he is loose and knows of their twitter. He enjoys messing up Bungie's "Plans", which pretty much means telling us their secrets about upcoming stuff. What better way to do this than through a social networking site like Twitter?

#1 Legendary ODST Firefight Highscore

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

It seems logical, but they never specified what exactly they tried to keep hidden (from the webmaster?). It is implied that it is the twitter feed itself they were hiding.

Totally awesome!

I think it was just because the Twitter link on the front page was down/linked to the wrong one since they acquired the @bungie name and had to switch it.

Maybe so, but why would they try to hide a twitter account from him? Because it would give him the ability to tell us what he knows. Being at Bungie, I'm sure he knows a bunch of stuff that Bungie "Officially" does not want us to know.

To spare us the inevitable updates from the toilet, some things are best left to the imagination

I think this is just one of those random out of the blue moments that has no bearing or effect on anything. Feel free to prove me wrong though...

Ah, a challenge. I do believe in my last conspiracy thread people thought I would be wrong. I was right... kinda. But this actually seems to be a real possibility compared to some of the crazier things I've seen on here.

@spaboolly

I say we just blame Stosh.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

What tangled webs we weave based upon mere insignificant snippets of information. We have an incomplete map, a contract timetable, and now the cowboy hat wearing, drunken ape has finally decided to return to his old habits of screwing with BUNGiE's plans. Ahh the darkness is merely a harsh twilight now.

Perhaps, but maybe it is about to evolve into a light morning that will last for years.

Clutchin' is a habit! 7th Column fo' lyfe

Doubtful.

At this point, I say we must be patient and wait until the VGA's roll around. I'd be shocked if we didn't hear anything around then. Probably a World Premiere.

But then how are we supposed to be fans with an unquenchable thirst for info? Other than the first part, I agree with you though.

Fac Fortia Et Patere

1) Probably just telling everyone that on the front page of b.net the Twitter has been changed to direct to @bungie instead of @bungietweets (unless that's been like that for awhile...).

EDIT: beaten:

2) The Webmaster is the special guest tweeter for this week (unlikely, but would be great).

I agree with number 2, that would be great.
