I don't boot anyone so my chances of getting an insta boot on one betrayal are low.

I only time I remember booting someone recently was when they betrayed me for the rocket launcher.

If it's a friend who betrays me I'll shrug it off and we'll have a laugh; if it's a random who betrays me then he'll be back in the lobby within milliseconds.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

If they betray me accidentally? No, unless that person does it over 3 times or so.
If they do purposefully? Yes. (unless they are a friend)

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I try to tell the difference between accident and deliberate, but sometimes I'm too mad and push the button anyways.

If I know that I will win without him/her I will and also if he/she is not a friend of mine.

During monday me and my friend were doing the weekly challenge and when we where at the last place, well, you can guess what happened lol. The accidental betrayal resulted in the accidental "Boot this player" - yes. *FACEPALM*

Sometimes I just hate my instincts. :)

If it's on purpose, yes. Otherwise, no.

  • 07.11.2012 5:16 PM PDT

Depends. Majority of the time I get betrayed it's by JellyBean246(1) splattering me in a warthog like an idiot so of course I boot that sort of player. Most betrayals require either a great deal of bad luck or stupidity so I'm not very lenient. That said if your betrayal is just bad luck then I'll let it slide.

He's told me he does, you're acting like he's afraid to own up to it. Which he isn't.

The moment the option comes up.

I only do it if they are being annoying and betraying me on purpose. Otherwise, like If it's an accident, I don't.

If it's clearly intentional, yes.

depends really, if the guy is like chasing me around and whatnot I'll kick him, but if a guy accidentally splattered me then no, but I'll kick him if it happens more then one time though... I don't like careless drivers

If you get splattered even once by a teammate, you should boot him even if it WAS an "accident". If he's so out of it that he isn't paying attention to where his teammates are, then he shouldn't be in the game.

I boot just about everyone that betrays me because they 99% deserved it. Only the occasional glitch or unanticipatable action will be forgiven, and those usually don't have the option to boot anyway.

99? In reality 50

Accident happens, I could be out running around and he could be panicking cause his gunner just died and he might have a warthog chasing after him, he jumps the hill and lands on top of me, I die, so what... it's not a big deal.

  • 07.12.2012 5:23 PM PDT

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

I always boot. The only times that I haven't is if I've been playing with a friend, or talker, who's said "ahh -blam!- dude, I'm sorry, my bad" or something similar.

I also expect to get booted every time I betray, which is rarely.

Only if they're intentionally trying to betray me on purpose than yes, I will boot them with a smile on my face.

If it's accidental, I won't, because then it seems like I'm a complete -blam!-.

I boot whenever I get the chance. I don't care if it was some freak accident. Booting is the only way for me to get my rage out.
