Or will it take a long time to determine exactly what constitutes a Team Hardcore map/starting weapon setup for 3?

I was on the verge of quitting Halo2 until they finally began implementing BR starts. I only hope they release a more versatile game in Halo3 at the onset, rather than long after.

I know they will not answer this, it's more food for thought as they are still in development. But they should be thinking, "What is our version of Team Hardcore going to look like for 3 if we have one at all?".

If you want a BR start every game there are 3 things you can do. Play a custom game, team hardcore, or rumble hardcore. They have implemented BR starts so stop your whining.

We won't know what is good for MLG/hardcore games. Just liek when Halo 2 came out. Just gotta wait a month or so.

You miss my point. I'm perfectly content and happy with my playlist options for Halo2. My point is, it took over a year to get them. Wouldn't you be concerned if you knew Halo3 had the chance of not having Dual Weilding playlists for the first year or so after release?

Why not show a little forward thinking with Halo3? Surely they can determine what would be suitable for a Team Hardcore variant. They are making the game. And it's a pretty simple concept the Hardcore playlist. You start with the most versatile Halo3 weapon, and work from there. It's not rocket science.

I have more faith Bungie can release a Hardcore gametype from day one than you do. I believe in Ninja on Fire from what he's done with Halo2. Surely he will make an impact.

Yeah well, I guess it's possible to start with a playlist kinda like hardcore. I just don't think it will happen.

I'm sure if Bungie doesn't do that then the community will have something.

I just hope the BR is totally gone. Then the "hardcore" players would be "happy".

He doesn't mean the BR exactly, he just means a weapon that would be a good starting weapon.

Look, I'm happy you like Dual Weilding. I'm happy you'll be getting Dual Weilding playlists by the busload. These playlists do not effect me, so I hope they are great fun for you. I'm only asking for one playlist for the Hardcore at release of 3, similar to what we have now.

Imagine if you had to wait a year to get to play Halo3 the way you wanted? You might as well wait until the price drops for the game if it's going to take that long. It shouldn't take that long is my point. And they can always tweak it with patches as we go.

Am I really asking for too much?

Thankfully, spiteful halfwits like you aren't in charge of this game. :-)

It's not his fault. He was introduced to a game that made it imperative for players to dual weild. Many casual gamers fear change.

Perhaps Halo3 will introduce him to more styles of play from the very beginning...before it's too late. Before he's sold his soul completely to one style of play...like many Bungie fans have done because of Halo2.

It's not his fault.
