He and I play on the same XBox, but of course, I -have- to be signed in for the Reach DLC Maps to register, and if I'm signed in, I'm forced to play. This doesn't work when I'm away at work and I want him to enjoy the game fully. Is there a solution? Even Gears lets any profile on my XBox enjoy my Gears DLC...

http://www.capturemyhaloclips.com/ - Get your Halo clips captured.
The Artists Corner - Show other members your artistic talent.
Storywrite - Where I am writing my book.

So long as you're on the same Xbox 360 you don't need to be signed in. He can play on the maps on his account.

I assume your account is the one that originally purchased the maps then. If so, that would mean you definitely downloaded the DLC on a different Xbox 360 console than the one you are both using now.

Since this is the case, click here. Follow the directions for the License Transfer while logged into the account that originally purchased the DLC. Then any account on that Xbox will be able to use any DLC available regardless of your account.

And if you are against that (though I can't think of a logical reason why anyone would be), he could always sign in your account and his, start then game, then sign yours out. It always works then. You don't have to be there to let him access it- just the account has to be there in the beginning.

Unless you had to change your xbox at some point and kept the original hard drive.

That would cause the maps to be linked to both your HDD and xbox.
If you lack the xbox, you'll have to be signed in your account to use them.

If this is what happened, OP simply has to transfer the rights of the DLC into the new xbox.

Alright, I'll give the license transfer a shot. I did it a while ago for different games, but maybe Reach needs another go at it. Thanks for the quick response!
