Subject: Could Someone Help Me Learn How To BR?

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

here is some valueable advice. aim head shots every shot. if your finding your stick movement (no dic jokes please) too jerky, edit your look sencetivity (don't spell check me i know it's wrong).
I just got my 41 today in the same playlist. It took about two fukkin' weeks to get it and i've played well over a thousand games so it might take a while to lvl up. hope that helps

This is terrible advice. There's no reason to aim for the head in a BR duel if you don't need to yet. It will just make you more likely to miss shots. It is a good idea to use a comfortable sensitivity, but I assume you're already doing that.

Use the BR as much as possible and you will get a steady BR eventually.
Play MLG if you want to speed up the process.

Note: hope you know that having a good BR is one of the less important factors when it comes to being good at halo 3.
I actually beat 47+ who are good by my standards in the ffa snipes and br battles gametypes but when I played regular gametypes with them they're always the ones going wildly positive.
Awarness is crucial in lone wolfs. Teamwork and communication is crucial in team based games. You shouldn't listen to much to me though, my BR is crap compared to other people on this forum

Still using a pump-action shotgun over 500 years in the future I see.

omg not realistic stop game production plz

I don't just want to repeat the advice already given so far for you OP, so I'll say this: learn to predict other people's strafe. If you can anticipate where they'll be, it greatly helps you to land shots on them obviously.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Shoot their heads.
If they strafe, keep just a little bit in front of where they're moving.
Four pulls of the trigger will kill them.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

Just make your strafing as awkward and jerky as possible up close, have it about a second each way at medium range. And have longer strafes at long range.

I run Skirmish!!!

just learn to strafe. I usually do left, right, left, right then jump if i already don't have the guy dead by then. But learn to make precise shots and keeping your BR steady while doing this

Reach has ended my 5 year addiction to Halo. Thanks Bungie!

Try to recognize when it would be appropriate to use your strafe to aim rather than moving your cursor.

I would guess this is the most important br skill to learn. As a repeating theme, it took me lots of practice to get decent at this.
