Hey Bungie.net, after recently acquiring an admin rank on a private group i am a part of, i quickly learned some tasks can be pretty difficult so i have decided to make an Admin 101 where some of you questions can be answered (you can always PM me for a specific question)
here are some helpful tips for all admins
First Tip: Changing rank
First off, admins can -not- change their own tags -unless- they are the group owner. Here are the steps: go into the members tab/Edit (next to name of desired person)/ select the bubble corresponding to the tag or rank you wish to assign someone/ Save changes.
Second Tip: Adding and editing role/rank
To edit a role/rank or to create a new one, simply go into the Admin tools tab/security role editor(third link from top)/click on create to create or modify to modify.This can be done by -anyone- but there is a limit of 15 separate ranks, however you can always change them.
*A note to all admins*
It is recommended that you consult other admins before blacklisting, banning, or deleting threads and posts as this is and irreversible action.

Any other tips that are posted will make there way into the OP. The tips i have included -are- simple gestures but i hope they made your time as an admin of a private group that much easier, thanks
