Andy

I used to play Reach on live, and thought the leveling system was okay. However, now that I'm offline, I can't really do anything. It's really difficult to get more than a few credits per game.

For example, I tried playing Firefight to get the 1 Million Point achievement. About 70 minutes in, I got the achievement and ended the game. I only got 1000 credits for that game.

I have no idea if this is normal and I just suck, but I've been a Warrant Officer for months, even though I play the game regularly. Is there anyway I can fix this? Am I doing something wrong?

http://www.capturemyhaloclips.com/ - Get your Halo clips captured.
The Artists Corner - Show other members your artistic talent.
Storywrite - Where I am writing my book.

If you have an account that's connected to Xbox LIVE and you play offline then the Daily cR limit is 1000cR and you'll earn not even half of what you would get in an online match.

If you seriously want cR and want to rank up. Get Gold.

I feel your pain. It was awful until we got gold.

im kidding.....

You get a huge amount of credits offline compared to online, assuming you never once signed in.

OP, if you don't want to play online, why not just mod it? The system doesn't allow you to bring them online, so you wouldn't be hurting anyone. Up to you to figure out how though, I know people have done it so I'm sure you could figure it out.

People don't have gold? How do you spend so much time on a multiplayer game without the multiplayer part?

Note Halo 2's current fanbase. Halo 2 dosen't have Xbox Live, an extremely limited community on XBC, and the worst port of an FPS shooter ever on PC. Yet people continue to enjoy its campaign.

Plus you can spend hours upon hours just playing solo multiplayer bouncing, glitching, and doing trick jumps.
