Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

NOTE: I am not encouraging or saying that its okay to sell the tickets, this is purely for a hypothetical situation.

Let's say one of the winners of the golden tickets decided they didn't need the tour of Bungie and instead wanted money. How much do you think they could sell the ticket for?

I would say 5 or 6 grand

Side note: I think it would actually be a good idea if Bungie sold an 8th ticket online for charity. They could raise a lot of money.

#101111011110111100001# is a '7'.

Indeed. I haven't had XBL for a long time, but I still come on her everyday.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

According to the fine print the tickets are non-transferable so any sale of the tickets would make said tickets null and void.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I would pay an untold amount of money.

that is why this is a hypothetical situation as stated in the OP...

OT: I bet it would go up to 10 grand just because there are probably some really rich bungie fans out there that would compete against each other.

Yep. Selling of the ticket makes it absolutely worthless in terms of the prize. Now it may have value to a collector. I've already gotten one request to purchase it but that just isn't happening.

Honestly, I am still not even sure whether or not were going to get to keep ours after the tour, though I hope we get to keep them cause I'd love to get mine framed. =)

Math rules the world.

I agree with your side note, but I think it would be more like 7 grand. ;)

Key

Ken would pay a thou or two.

A normal person would go up to 300.

  • 07.14.2012 9:09 AM PDT

They could sell it for a couple of thousand and there would still be people willing to buy it.

Bye.

I never learned the value of a dollar, so with that in mind....$10?

It's not the same. Honestly I wouldn't purchase a ticket if it was for sale. I'd rather win it.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

3500 to 4000 If it's redeemable for the prize (which is implied in the OP, I suppose). However, as a collectable... maybe a few hundred, if that. I'd probably pay about $50 at most.

DEEDLE LEEDLE LEEDLE DEEEEE

I would pay an unknowable amount of money.

$ = 0/7
