This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Click your B.net username top right.

Then click "Halo: Reach" where it shows a small display of your spartan.

Then click your spartan.

Of course, you must have your GamerTag linked to Bungie.net in order to do this.

No problem, but keep in mind that your player model was last updated on 03/31/2012 here on Bungie.net. Since Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe, you might have to go over here to get an updated model of your spartan.

Don't ask me how that site works, because I have no idea.

Bungie.net has a section when you are viewing your profile that says update model, where they claim you can type in the code that appears on your networking screen in-game. I'm still dubious because of how indistinguishable the 0's and 8's are from D's and B's though.
