Subject: I feel sorry for the golden ticket winners

Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

Imagine how bad the wait would be for Bungie's next game if you were a golden ticket winner.

Chances are that they will get to see at least something like 3D models, character sketches, etc if they walk by anyone who is working on Destiny.

Imagine how hard it would be to see that and not be able to talk about it with anyone, and on top of that, have a semi-idea of what they are making and knowing you have to wait.

Spread the love...

I'd be fine with having the wait be harder if it meant I get a tour of Bungie :)

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I think it would be fun to wear one of the destiny T-shirts and see how bad of a choice they made in supporting whatever that symbol stands for.

  • 07.15.2012 3:12 PM PDT

I don't see how that's bad. There's a chance Bungie will let them talk about it first when they give the OK.

Narwhallace Smithington: Gone, but not forgotten. Never approve of anything lil guy. <3
Furious George: The new -blam!-

I feel bad for them, too. One of them should give me their ticket so I can save them from suffering and stuff.

I have only one feeling for them and it is most certainly not pity.

not be able to talk about it with anyone

Actually, they have at least six people to talk about it with, excluding all of the Bungie employees.

~ I hate, therefore I am. ~

The NDA and keeping quiet aren't that hard to follow, nor is it much suffering during the wait.

I was able to handle something similar when I was Beta Testing the Dawnguard Expansion for Bethesda Softworks. The NDA isn't that bad, and having to keep something secret like this actually makes you just that much more excited for the eventual release.

The Seven will be fine. It's the rest of us who'll suffer knowing that people have been Illuminated beyond the Darkness.

:D

Imagine how it feels to be the Bungie Employees making the game, who want to share their hard work with the world but can't. You come home, your kids run up to you crying "Daddy Daddy what did you do today?" and you can't help but shake your head with unfathomable sadness saying "sorry guys, maybe in a year or two..."

An exalted member need not suffer, you are too important. I'll take the blow.

Totally.

I'm available to any of those with a ticket... if the stress gets too much...

I'll take the ticket.

I got broad shoulders amigos, I can handle that kind of pressure.

I'm offering because I care...

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

I don't care for the winners, nor how long they must wait.

Look at it this way.

Say there is a pile of bacon, but nobody knows about the bacon. Marty O'Donnell invites you to come eat bacon with him. You got bacon, nobody else did. In my mind, that makes the golden ticket winners, erm, winners.

TL,DR: Bacon is awesome

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

I feel sorry for them because I've read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
