If a person that is better skilled than me takes it easy on me, then he is doing me a disservice.

You see, someone with more talent, putting their talent against someone elses, eventually makes his challenger better!

Eventually, I will find a way to beat my opponent. But, it will take me having to hone my skills and improve to do so. If he was only mediocre, then my limit would be mediocre as well.

You see, your brain is -blam!-, and ppl like me, luckily, live on this earth to continue to make the world work proper, while weak ARSSES like yourself have to mooch off of our earnings and achievements because we have a backbone.

Simple as that ol buddy ol pal. Eat SH;T!

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

Your opponent would only be doing you a disservice by purposely letting you win. Not by going easy on you.

So long as you continue to keep stepping it up in relation to their improvement. There is no disservice.

When fighters train. Do they try to break each others arms?
Then according to you. There is no point in sparring.

Your analogies are so lame. There are two sports that come to mind, where injuries are so heavily involved with the sport...that they have only a select amount of matches per year..

#1 fighting (boxing, MMA, etc.)
#2: NFL Football

Why do you think they play 82+ basketball games, well over 100 baseball games a year? Because the body can handle that.

But in football and in fighting, the body takes too much wear and tear. So, of course they are not going to injur a fighter in practice, before the actual competition.

Quit taking analogies out of context. This is the SECOND time you have done this. The reason they spar with ALL THE PADs, and without going 100% is simply to keep from destroying our limited bodies. In Halo, you are not going to get anything worse than a hand injury!! (or annerism from playing too long)

Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.
