of bungie? or their game, halo? i can remember when i first came in to contact with Halo, but not bungie. it was either through wu and bungie.org and the bungie community, or it was through bungie's old website. i'm not sure which came first.. but i know this, halo was just one game.. and it introduced me to bungie way back in the day.

The year was 1994 and iwas given a macintosh for my birthday instead of the more popular windows 95 pc. But to quelch my inhibitions, my dad, who started his bungie fandom with GNOP!, bought me Minotaur, Pathways, and this little shooter called Marathon. I became a fan instantly and my passionate taste for kickass games and bungie was born. Similarly my dad took me to Macworld 99 and not only was i able to see the first glimpse of halo, i was also able to meet and talk with my second biggest hero of all time: Jason Jones. It was tubular

Fan of Halo from Halo 2 onwards, I started paying attention to Bungie itself with what they do behind the scenes and with the community from the announcement of Halo 3 onwards.

I became a fan of Bungie when I joined Bungie.net. I did start playing Halo in 2005, but I really didn't know about Bungie until the Halo 3 era.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

Early to mid 90's when a fellow Mac user turned me onto Pathways Into Darkness.

As soon as I saw an advert in Macwarehouse for a space-based game from the same people? I knew that I had to have it.

All of these years and that opening synth tone still gives me goosebumps.

When I first played Halo: CE years and years back at a friend's house. I don't remember the date but I would guess ~2003. When Halo 3 was announced I was old enough to buy it myself, so I did.

However it wasn't until sometime during Reach's development that I choose to get myself a Bnet account. I'd spent too long lurking.

As soon as I got my original Xbox with Halo 1 bundled as a promo from EB Games in November 2001.

A few weeks later, my wait for Halo 2 had begun and I became glued to Bungie.net for the following three years, waiting for any sign of Halo 2.

Long live the Seventh Column.

Hi.

Don't know why people choose to be fans of companies rather than games.

lulz

In high school when Halo CE came out...then I got into 2...3..and realized I had played and enjoyed Oni before I had played any of the Halo titles.

Don't know why people choose to be fans of companies rather than games.
I don't understand why people choose to be fans of artists rather than songs.
I don't understand why people choose to be fans of painters rather than paintings.
I don't understand why people choose to be fans of authors rather than books.

I want you to critically think about the post you made and realize how silly you sound.
