I've lost all motivation to work out. I just....don't want to to do it anymore.
Do you want a quitter and keep making excuses, or do you want to start making changes?
It's your call.I'm not consciously quitting.I'm just not doing it, and when I do, it feels tedious and like a chore. I don't feel good doing it, which is weird because I was into it last week.
1. My dad once told me, "The moment you rest on your laurels is the moment you lose it all."
If you're currently working hard, but then take a break, it can be impossible to make yourself get back on track. It's better to just keep grinding away and push through from start to finish.
What does this have to do with lifting? It means that I force myself to go on every scheduled day. Because once you start skipping days, it's very hard to make yourself get back on schedule. Unless you are bed-ridden with sickness, MAKE YOURSELF GO THE GYM. Show some self-discipline and show some mental toughness.
2. If you don't "feel good" doing it, consider Music. Use music and your imagination to vision yourself performing manly acts of greatness, then unleash that emotion into those dumbbells. Works for me.
