Subject: The Golden Septagon

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

When you're browsing Bungie.net, and you see the golden septagon beside a post, do you instantly enter the thread, searching for that delicious golden text? I don't mean reading the OP, or the comments, or both. I mean literally entering the thread just to see what the employee(s) have to say.

I find myself doing it more often than not. Usually they have something witty or generally interesting to say. I especially enjoy when an uncommon one makes a post, they usually bring something new to the party. So, do you, or don't you?

Nope.

I've done it once or twice. Not usually, though.

No. Their opinion is invalid.

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

It all depends on what the topic is.

But mostly no. They put their pants on just like us. (This is clearly just speculation)

I used to click on the link right away, but after that golden text there is usually a whole lump of meaningless quotes of the golden poster. So I stray away from it, unless it's MailSack of course.

You have no idea how revolting I can be.

DeeJ's Challenge

Not really. I do enter it though to read the OP and see what other people are saying. I then find out where they posted to see if it was DeeJ plugging the Jobs page again, urk derailing the thread, or Hal just trolling for fun.

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

Not really, unless i'm really bored or it's an interesting topic. It makes me facepalm when a Bungie Employee posts and the rest of the thread is people quoting them and kissing ass.

Clutchin' is a habit! 7th Column fo' lyfe

Not really, no.

I Like Turtles

HECK YES! This is one of the many reasons I check the forum... It is always good to hear what an employee of the game company who has had a major impact of over half your life has to say!

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

Gold Septagons give me gas.

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

Sometimes.

"Inveniam Viam Aut Facium" _~

if ( !now ){ when(); }

I do check out the thread, but I also check the OP, and the comments so I can get a feeling for the context if the thread.

I'd like to see a little number nested in the golden septagon, so I know how many times an employee posts in a thread.

No, but if a thread that is interesting has a golden septagon, it greatly increases the chances of me doing that.

Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.

That's funny, I read this thread as "Golden Scorpion" and immediately clicked on it. I am disappointed now.

My old Halo 2 account is Devil brothers

I like to guess how many people quote a Bungie employee's post before I enter a thread.

That happens a lot. Too much, in fact.

A little bit of sausage, a little bit of hot sauce, a whole lot of awesome. Have a question? Ask me!
Chapter

I'll usually just look through the entire thread, read all the replies that catch my attention, and then see what the employee has to say.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

No, I usually read the OP and a few posts before finding the Bungie employee's post.

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Yes. I generaly do look for it if I have not already. It's not like it is a priority or anything, the thread is generaly last on my list of threads that I am going through.
