8. Multiplayer maps tailor made for multiplayer and not ripped from campaign like in CoD or Halo: Reach
I personally have a problem with this statement: I think most fans fail to recognize how those were built to be integrated in both Single and Multi-player experiences. The maps in Halo Reach were made to meet a certain criteria in how the game is expected to be played out (engaging in enemies in both cases redeem similiar qualities and efforts in the overall experience in Reach). In fact, these areas have the opposite effect when you look at them at a single player aspect; the game is modeled to be played in a similar fashion as multiplayer, in fact that's how the campaign essentially feels, multiplayer with AI's (with enemies attributes and scripts obviously being the pivotal point between the two).
GRIPES: Everything you listed had little to nothing to do with actual gameplay... but instead focused entirely how the game looks (which I'm on the fence myself about it). I think the biggest things to consider -as far as changes going into Halo 4- is how sprint as a default movement trait now, but how that will essentially affect the environment and gameplay is yet to be fully understood (let alone appreciated). The motives behind the changes can be debatable and interpreted in different ways... depending if these changes will cator and meet the expectations and preferences that long time Halo fans (which contains the very first online fanbase for a console FPS) has helped maintain and innovate through years of following the franchise.
6. Not being able to teabag n00bs after the "game over" announcement.
