Subject: How many people are in the room?

Is there anyway for B.net to have a room counter on the screen? That is a counter showing how many people are currently in the room? It kind of sucks being on late at night (like this) and posting something while wondering "is anybody even reading this?" Just wondering...

What good are writing forums if nobody is around to read what you have to say. I posted this in the Septagon because I had an idea to improve B.net. But if your answer is simply no, then thank you.

Would be cool to have a link on the forums somwhere showing currently online members, invision forums have it and I think it is useful. Of course you would have to have it on a seperate page unlike invision to take into account the amount of traffic.

It could just say a how many people are on, not which ones. Also I would think that you could make it to where mods don't show up anyway. Of course I am not sure how that would be possible with you and your hair TGP. You can be seen coming from a mile away even on the internet. ;)

I shouldn't diss the hair though. From what I understand it is a chick magnet.

...if only because it exerts its own gravitational pull on the females in question. =)

If your post is worthy then people will read it and possibly comment. This is a forum, not a chat room or instant message system. Immediate responses to your post should not be expected.

It would be nice to know how many people are signed in on b.net. That's not a bad idea.

That's the whole point of a forum. You can post something and a day later someone can come online and see what has been posted earlier.

Hmph. Sometimes I wish your mind was more... nefarious, GP.

What you would do is, make it appear that mods were on all of the time, even if they weren't; causing the opposite effect. :-)
