Subject: A trend in the Halo games (1 to 4)

Halo: CE was gameplay based with cutscenes that mostly acted to show the gamer the scale of what was going on. Halo 2 had much more story driven cutscenes while retaining the overall gameplay style as Halo: CE. Halo 3 (although alot more dramatic) had the same purpose of cutscene as Halo: CE and again retained the same overall gameplay style.

Now for Halo 4; I'm expecting the same overall gameplay style (even though the trailer might say differently) again, and the cutscenes to be story driven like in Halo 2. This is because of 2 reasons: the trend seems to interchange per game and the trailer shows that this game will reveal forerunner background; which'd definately call for lenghy cutscenes.

I believe by adding new aliens in halo 4 it will bring something new and exciting to the halo game as we do not know what to expect.

So long as the cutscenes aren't too long (MGS 4 opening anyone?) then I'm fine with whatever the cutscenes will turn out to be.

This Soffish do not eat.

I have to say, I did enjoy the more story-driven cutscenes of Halo 2, especially ones that gave us more insight into the Covenant's inner circles.

I would like to see some great story-driven cutscenes in Halo 4 as well!
