T-Bone!

I downloaded the new 125 updates for the 360 2 weeks ago. Earlier this week I was told there was a new update for the 360 so I downloaded that as well. I put in the first Halo just after the download and XBOX LIVE had told me there was an update for that game. I thought that was kind of odd because that game was not made for LIVe nor had I heard anything that it was ever going to be. I looked the HALO 1 up online the same day and there were 2 new features on for it. They were both highlighted for XBOX LIVE. The first one said XBOX LIVE LEADERBOARDS. And the second one said XBOX LIVE AWARE. I went to click on multiplayer for the game even system link and it didn't say anything about XBOX LIVE. So now that you have my story. The question is, what is going on? Why make it XBOX LIVE AWARE just so that people can see you playing the first HALO? Is there something going on that Bungie isn't telling us? Or is this just all a mistake. Before anyone answers me... Go throw in the first HALO into your 360 and see what happens then get back to me.

Hmm. It's odd because not on the news or the top story. I think it they might be typing it up right now.

Don't hold your breath.

The emulator update was for the sake of adding new titles to the list of emulator-compatible Xbox games. When an emulator update is available, you will be asked to download it whenever you put any Xbox game into your 360.

Does the Live Aware also work for the XBox?

I look at some of the features for the new Windows Vista, and all I see are more things I'm going to have to figure out how to turn off. Every time I reinstall Windows I'm having to delete the messenger program and turn off a bunch of crap I don't need.

Can we blame the Bungie Webmaster for this? It sounds suspiciously like his doing.

Hmm maybe. No I did not just say that! But it does sound suspicios.
