I know one of the rules of this site is to refrain from posting anything generally considered NSFW; even though this varies for every person. Would you support the addition of a feature to the site that allows someone to check a box before they create a thread to indicate that it may be considered NSFW? That way we would be able to talk about more topics, without having to accidentaly offend people? Perhaps add a filter so threads that are labeled NSFW are automatically invisible to anyone that chooses to not see NSFW threads?

I'm not sure whether to post this in the Flood or here; since the Flood is where the majority of NSFW threads would go.

Most workplaces block YouTube, those that don't probably don't have a problem hearing the f-word for 5 seconds before you lower the volume. Other than that, what is it you think you need to post that is NSFW and yet allowed on the site?

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

Mostly children visit this web site. If you don't want tonget banned remove the video and post that in the flood if you want an opinion.

You think a mod would have issue with that video? Fine, I'll remove it, thanks for the heads up!

I have yet to see someone banned for posting a video with a few F bombs, unless the video contained illegal content or shock content.

Neither have I... so, I suppose I'll edit back in? Oh nvm, I'll keep it in the Flood thread.

Ironic, even though Halo is 18+

But this site is 13+.

Bye.

- Keep your posts on-topic and "safe for work". The further you stray the more you'll tempt a ban.By adding a NSFW warning you're basically saying that it's Ok to post NSFW material as long as you warn other users about it. Which isn't the case. It would cause an influx of NSFW threads and would be used as a cop out when complaining to the mods, "Why give me a NSFW alert and then ban me for using it? You stank Bungie!"

Think you can take me in NHL12? Send me a message/invite

Im sure you can post NSFW stuff in group forums.

I think that would be a bad idea though... you either have to allow it, or disallow it. There is no happy median when dealing with anonymous internet users.

Not just a Halo site, my friend. What if a 14 year old who was sheltered and couldn't play halo secretly found Myth and played it on his PC then found his / her way to the site?

OK, fine, so most of the people who came here for community surrounding pre Halo CE games are mostly likely not between 13 & 18, but hey, its only highly improbable. Can't rule it out!

This would just make our current problem worse.

The mods wouldn't just have to decide what is "Not Safe for Work", they'd have to decide what is "too Not Safe for Work".

Yeah, I don't think that would end well.

Because the video is irrelevant to the "community" forum.

Bungie could require age verification upon account creation to automatically make NSFW material invisible.

Try explaining that to a boss who can remotely monitor your computer.

Not that I've ever had to do that. >.>

You shouldn't be on B.net at work anyways, noob O_o. That's why it would be required to have a NSFW tag on it.

We should have a bobcast forum where bobcast answers all of your medical questions.
