Whats Bungie's gameplan for handling Network Manipulation in Halo 3? For those of you who do not know this includes standbying, forcing host, bridging, and the rumored "standby for host." I think its safe to assume that the Halo 2 "rank" system will be in Halo 3 based on how popular it was with Halo 2. This means their will be cheating and the biggest problem will be bridgers. I recently upgraded to a T2 connection giving me over 5 megs up and 30 down, a purely lagless connection. I played about 10 Team Hardcore games today and did not get host in any of them. Either Bungie's system for picking host does not really pick the best host or http://testmy.net is a completely BS site. Cheating is going to be a problem and I'd love to hear some suggestions on how to handle it by both forum members and Bungie reps.

Formula one racing kicks ass.

they should do dedicated servers and then the problem would go away.

Guys ... before you comment on how Halo 3's networking should work ... learn basic networking concepts like latency, packetloss, bandwidth, and lag?
