i see my self as more of a scout, a sniper and a shotgun everytime. i take out the campers in the sniper spots, then spin and shotgun to death the guy chasing me who is spraying the area in AR rounds. i also have a special trick for a bit of payback. i like to pretend i am camping with my back to an obvious entry point and wait for someone to come along. i watch my motion tracker and pretending to be sniping and when the stalker comes in close for the irresistable melee to the back of the head, i spin and give them a few shells to think about.

And playing paintball prepares you to make quarter mile distant shots how?

Seriously. I prefer Sniper Rifles in other games. Take Return to Wolfenstein for example. If you started to jog or run you lowered the scope. Your sight wobbled, less if you were crouching and you had to fight it, concentrate as much on keeping your aim steady as you had to keep track of your target. There are more factors involved.

Halo is embarassingly simple in comparison. For example, my friends online starfe back and forth while dodging, concentrate on placing their elevation of their sight at head level and then take their fingers off of the right stick and strafe back in for the shot.

How realistic is that?

I dont usually play BG, but when I do, I just drive up with the warthog, do one of those sliding moves to shoot myself into the base, grab the flag, and drive back.

When on things like Dammy TS, I usually try to do tourney play, I use my timer, and always go for the rocket and power ups.

I like the warthog, and ive mastered all the tricks; except how to do 360's? I suck at tank and ghost.

I like the sniper and pistol, but if I'm defending pistol and shotgun, and if I'm assalting shotgun sniper.

It really just depends on my mood and what I'm trying to accomlpish.

My specialty is an Iron defense. When I'm playing on Defense nobody is getting to my flag. My fav weapons are the pistol (of course) and the sniper. Sometimes I switch out the Sniper for a Plasma rifle (stunning is sooo good).

People are using a simular tactic in Counter-Strike... They'll pose as a "not playing character" till someone goes to knife them then pull out a gun and blow them away..

I personally just kill them from a distance... I usually can spare the ammo so I don't take the chance to do something I could do just as easilly anyway...

I am an all around player! I can guard a base, by myself, I can take over the other teams base by myself! I can use any weapon, and I am good at any range (Long, short, medium)! I can place a grenade anywhere and can drive any vehicle to the limit! So as I said I can do just about anything! Thats why I am so good, and that is why everybody hates me!

I'm not particularly good at anything so i usually go around doing what needs to be done, which works pretty well because i'm better then most of my friends.I'm usually the one on my team who organizes strategys.I used to be a really good close range sniper, i could get head shots 4 times out of 5 but then i didn't play halo for a really long time and i'm not that good at it anyomre.
My friends call me a pistol -blam!-.

I'm a multi-use strategic tactics and ravage draftee. aka MUSTARD.

I can be deployed in several tactical situations including close range one to one combat, with both light and heavy weaponry including the use of explosive charges of both human and alien technology. Long range precision and high explosive combat. Vehicular combat ranging from on foot to vehicle to vehicle combat. Skilled in several hand to hand combat techniques and can deploy several combat routines before target is aware of what lurks.

In other words, I am the ultimate soldier.

Me: "OMFG, Dude... wtf!"
AbolitionofMan: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to betray you."
Me: "That's the 4th time in this game alone!"
Chris: "Third, besides he had the flag I was trying to stop him, how was I supposed to know you were there."
Me: "I said, 'I got the Flag, don't shoot.'"
Chris: "Well those Wraith shots take a while to reach you."
Me: "You were right next to me, I had killed him and a minute passed before you decided to shoot."
Chris: "Hahahahaha, yeah... that was great."

Primary: Offensive Sniper... Triple Kills are a common with my clip.

"Don't bother running... you'll only die tired."

Secondary: Heavy Assault...

Sniper is for me....ive gone at least 15 times in a row with head shots in blood gultch, and these arent stationary targets, my reaction time is rediculously fast, pistol i hardly ever take more than 4 shots to kill, most of the time killing in three.

I have been undefeated with my friend for a very long time, basically i just kill.....

without dying

Yeah, that is a little unrealistic, so to compensate I have the Auto-Center option enabled that moves your reticule back to normal position when you move. I find that makes it a little more realtistic. It still doesn't help you from getting sniped so easily though, which is frustrating. I also have a friend who thinks he's so good at sniping, but if auto-center were enabled, he'd be complaining left and right.

As far as how I play Halo, I mix it up between the sniper, assault (AR and Shotgun), and just getting in a vehicle (esp. Scorpion) and OWNING the battlefield.

I'm best at the warthog wether it be driver, gunner or passenger and i get annoyed when my friend isn't as good as me and i wish i could find another me out there.

depends on the levels, personally I like sneaking and a good melee to the back or charging and boxing. But in CTF, i try and keep my enemies guessing, they never know where I'll show up next.

Any tactic to get the job done.

I am a Halo Xbox player (still getting used to Halo PC over at my friend's house, but I hold my own pretty well regardless). Countless LAN parties and I have never lost...even won a me vs 6 others in a team slayer game to 50 kills. I am pretty good all-around whether it is campaign, MP, or just messing around and doing tricks.

I can play head games with opponents or be obnoxious...either way. Sometimes the out-of-game tactics work as well (short of cheating).

I don't really have a preferred weapon since different situations call for different tactics. But if I had to go with something, I would go with the pistol/AR or the pistol/plasma rifle combo. I'm good with all of the weapons though. I can snipe you out of a moving ghost, lead you with a rocket launcher from a distance, or tag a plasma grenade to you fairly easily.

I've got driving down to an art...mostly because when we get bored playing MP, we play what we call "bumper cars". Rules are: the only way you can kill someone is by running them over...this means you've got to figure out how to get them out of their vehicle whether it be tank, ghost, or warthog...usually by flipping them somehow. This'll teach you how to quickly get back into a vehicle or land your flipped vehicle properly.

If someone gets cheap, I can spawn camp or map hack with the best of them...though I hope to avoid it if at all possible.

My friends and I sit for hours planning CTF strategies on the various maps, slayer tactics, practicing vehicle driving (IE bumper cars, or Race), practice grenade throwing (we use the symbols on the Blood Gulch forts as targets to get used to throwing on the move), use each other for target practice with each weapon, and practice up-close meleeing for those situations when you are out of ammo and grenades.

And we're looking forward to all of the new tactics to learn in Halo 2 :).
