How will wielding work? We already use left click to shoot. Will primary fire be on the right click? Or will primary go to right mouse only when weilding?

Jump: Space
Pick up weapon: E
Melee: F
Board vehicle: E
Change grenades: G
Throw grenade: Right click (with one weapon in hand)
Fire left weapon: Left click
Fire right weapon: Right click
Scope: Z
Zoom in: Mouse scroll
Grab flag/bomb/skull/other item: E

That's how the controls should be IMO.

But that means tat primary fire will be the right trigger, seeing how you primary weapon is in your right hand.

Primary weapon fire would be the right button ONLY when you're dual-wielding. Otherwise, it's the standard left click fire.

The few, the proud, the leet.

And tab would pick up the second wielded weapon. But geez, you really are overthinking this.

I'm going to have to go with iam117 simply because his English is correctly typed.

I think tab should be used to dual-wield a weapon, and to drop a duel wielded weapon. I don't mind having my right mouse button being used to fire a weapon in my left hand.

Trust me, you dont wanna rig your controls like that. I've tried it that way, and it doesn't work out too well. Back in an old CMT beta, there was a SMG/Pistol combo that wasn't set up right. Basically, the left mouse button fired the SMG on the right and the right mouse button fired the pistol on the left. It was very confusing even after getting used to it.

Also remember, that with PC controls, you can rig your keyboard and mouse to whatever you want. Say you want to have secondary fire / grenades with the left bracket key. If so, you can do it.

I based my list on Johnny Orcface's list. Good ideas, Johnny Orcface!

Jump: Space
Pick up weapon: E
Melee: F
Board vehicle: E
Change grenades: G
Throw grenade: Right click (with one weapon in hand) *or V.*
Fire left weapon: Left click
Fire right weapon: Right click (or V)
Scope: Z
Zoom in: Mouse scroll (or Z)
Crouch: C or CNTRL

Grab flag/bomb/skull/other item: E

Wait a sec, in Halo 2 Xbox, do you have to press a button to pick up the flag or oddball? Because, in Halo, you can just walk over it and it automatically picks it up.

Remember, if you dual wield you can't use genrades, so the right trigger would be for the left gun then as the default button, so teh genrade button would turn into the firing button.

Or...

In H2PC, there can be an option for the moment you are dual-wielding two weapons, pressing the left mouse button would fire the left weapon, and firing the right mouse button would fire the right weapon, but as soon as you dropped the weapon from your left hand your left mouse button would again fire your right handed weapon. You can choose to do this as an option or something.

All you guys forgot to throw in a key for dual wielding, although I agree it should be TAB. You should have to press E to pick up oddball/bomb/flag because if you have ever had to drop a flag to fight somebody, then you know how annoying (and often fatal) it is when you randomly strafe over the flag and pick it up again while your being fired at. But also in Halo2PC you should be able to melee or switch weapons to drop the second one. Master Kim, if you read this, then you should post a thread about info on all the maps and weapons so that we wont completely suck while your owning us all, especially for the people that havent ever played Halo2 and cant tell a SMG from a Battle Rifle. Or for those people that have only played brief splitscreen matches with friends and only halfway know about 3 of the maps. *cough cough*me*cough cough*
